As a follower of Jesus all my life, it was not until I became a man that truly devoted my private devotion time to a deeper desire to learn more and more of what God was saying in his Holy Word. Using the internet to learn more finding books to explain more put me in a true desire to do God's will, and God has Blessed me beyond anything my own mind desired. He blessed me , with a truly Godly Wife & family as well with a growing business and is in my own daily life walk everyday. I guess that is how I got to this movie. Amen. God enjoys praise but Holy Holy Holy is our Lord and Savior.

What an awesome and inspiring movie. Moody prevailed as an evangelist even though his humanity challenged his commitment. Moody shows usnwe too need to presevere in the faith to finish the work while it is day!

We can just read faith in this Moody's text and i believe for each true christian, born of the holy spirit , these words have the same meaning as well as they had for Dwight Moody...I hope soon we shall meet in heaven and i will be glad to remind him this sentence when we shall all gather around our savior Jesus Christ

I've been keeping for My family for 30 years. when the Son received Christ as Lord And Saviour. I wept.
This story has left me with lots of thoughts in my mind over my conduct and part in ministry, strategy in service and renewal or passion in missions

I love the story of D. Moody .

It's three years later and the question which came to mind as I read your comment is " Has She?". hope you're not offended, but have you lived a life abandoned to him?
I liked how Moody didn't feel the need to change or conform to the world. He stayed true to himself and God used him bad grammar and all to reach a lot of people who weren't regular church goers. The Lord made each one us and He has placed unique gifts in all of us. If we would just consecrate ourselves to Him, like D. L Moody did, and allow Him to work through us we could also do mighty works in Jesus's name.
What a great life story. So glad he followed Christ's path.
