Give Trossard credit too cause Jesus does that in games all the time and has no outlets to pass to afterwards. Trossard has good movement off the ball in limited playing time.

Walker has been poor all season and KDB has been nonexistent in many games too. Walker and Ake aren’t even guaranteed starters anymore and KDB gets subbed early a lot too. Them playing is no guarantee of a favourable result.

Its nothing about playing possession football, why we talking like multiple teams have not done well playing this way in CL?
The problem is on Arteta and how he set up the team to press, it was way too easy for Bayern to play through it. Almost the entire backline and Rice had bozo moments.

Arteta needs to select a proper big game XI for return leg, bin Kiwor, start Tomi, consider Partey to start, start Jesus through the middle, consider starting Trossard on the left and please, do some psychological counselling for Raya, Saliba & Gabriel. We can’t afford another 5-1 slapping in Munch, that will also crash the mentality for the PL Title charge. Now we need first to respond on Sunday. Again, please start Tommy on the left back position, Ollie Watkins, Bailey, Daiby will all attack that side knowing what has happened today.

Davies and Gnabry will be big losses for Bayern. Davies had to be on full pace today to deal with Saka. Goretzka has to keep his place in midfield. For Arsenal, Arteta got line his up wrong but responded very well with the substitutions as they all combined for the Arsenal equaliser. The Gunners have the ability to win if they don't lose focus and gift the game away. Bayern have the tools to respond with counter attacks due to their powerful runners.
