Remember the dinosaur after you leave Kami's lookout? I loved the music in that area so I got Goku to level 25 on that one dino alone. During the fight with the saiyans, I literally killed Nappa in a single blow lol.
I love how in this whole game, Vegeta seems like the only one that actually lands a few punches, even freiza who's the strongest being during that time can't land a single punch.
It was an early game and it was their first time making a Legacy of Goku type game, atleast in the later games they put more effort and experince by the time Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Furry came out.
i remember the times when this still thrills me so much.. now i have a psp, i even got tired playing dragon ball tenkaichi tag team over and over again, finishing the game thrice, the 100 fight tournament once, and creating my own imaginary stories in free battle
I wanted the blue energy attacks. I couldn't stand the fact it was unaccessible, to Goku. Could have at least made the Kamehameha wave blue. And there was no Kaioken or Spirit Bomb.
Here's a cheat: Get shot by a Kai Blast while you're flying, and then you can walk right into them and they'll never attack you. I loved how Vegeta had Blue kai Blasts LoL. I wish it was that way in Legacy of Goku and Buu's Fury :) And they really need to do a remake of Legacy Goku and make it much better. Where you play as Krillen, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta and Goku. And actually make it the same detail as Buu's Fury and same quality and follow the real story line.

Its amazing how so many dragonball z fans expect so much a GBA can't handle compared to DBZ Budokai on PS2 and Wii. Of course Legacy of Goku is crappy, it came before Legacy Of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury!
if u want to cheat then when the little movie thing comes up when u cut the game on, push up, down, left, right, B , A, this alows u to never die, enter it at the part where it shows shenron in the video
wtf this dose not folow the storyline at all. after goku beats nappa vegeta kills him. then vegeta and goku fly somwhere else to fight. this game shuld have had the gallic gun vs kame hame ha , where you have to tap the "a" button raidly. and in this game when vegetea turns into an ape he just touches goku and goku gets hurt. WTF? and vegetas avatar when he talks looks stupid.
Legacy of goku is the best game LOGV2 had better features tho like the enemy health bar double tapping to run n shit and characters but legacy of goku is the best

What I liked about this game was when Goku said "KAMEHAMEHA!!!" when he used it. That was bad ass.
