A wonderfully evocative and moving soundtrack to what is easily my favourite film of this genre, and that is on my 're-watch' list ....with the superb casting of Christopher Plummer and James Mason as Holmes and Watson respectively, Donald Sutherland, Antony Quayle, and for me the most outstanding performance given by Genevieve Bujold in a heart breaking role I will never forget ! Thank you for sharing this short but moving piece from the score, the complete cd of which I will seek out ! 👍
