Full Game 100% Longplay Walkthrough of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves rendered in 4K 60FPS quality! This 100% longplays includes all challenges and the bonus movies.
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves in PAL territories) is a stealth-action platforming video game that was developed by Sucker Punch Productions for the PlayStation 2. It is the third video game in the Sly Cooper franchise. Sly 3 has optional 3D stages, and the PS2 release came with a pair of 3D glasses inside the manual. Despite receiving lower ratings than its predecessor, the game received generally positive reviews from the gaming press and according to review aggregates was as well-reviewed as the original game.
Sly 3 released on September 26, 2005 in North America and November 18, 2005 in Europe on the PS2. On November 9, 2010, it was released on PlayStation 3 as part of The Sly Collection HD remaster. Its first release in Japan was as part of the the Sly Cooper Collection HD remaster, released on January 27, 2011. It received a sequel, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, in 2013.

When Murray wears his Aboriginal uniform in An Opera Of Fear, we see his face is blistered where his mask used to be.
"With the fight over, we scraped Bentley off the pavement." They're lucky Carmelita didn't arrest him while they were fighting.
One thing I like about Sly Cooper is that they use different antagonists. With Sonic, it's almost always Eggman/Robotnik, and with Mario, it's almost always Bowser. Sly definitely fans out a bit more in terms of villains.
I remember when Rango came out, it featured a population of anthropomorphic animals, one of which was a turtle confined to a wheelchair. I couldn't help but know that that had already been done better years before. As a Sly Cooper fan, I stand by that assessment.
My sister and I always thought that Bentley's last note in his duet with Octavio was hilarious.

I remember how much trouble I used to have with Sly opening safes. I used to have to get one of my sisters to do it. It always took me, like, 20 minutes to open those safes. She just flew through 'em.

Bentley said that all of Octavio's guards were checking up on each other, but we never see them do that to anyone other than Sly (in disguise, of course).
For those of you who don't already know this, Bentley can hold the triangle button in place while sneaking up behind a guard to throw the bomb into the guard's pocket.
Every level in this game has at least one beast except An Opera of Fear. Rumble Down Under=hungry croc; Flight of Fancy=giant wolf; A Cold Alliance=dragon; Dead Men Tell No Tales=Crusher; and of course all of Dr. M.'s monsters in the last level
For those of you who don't know, the wolf won't enter the little river separating the forest from the hangars, so you can go in there and be safe.
Whenever the captain of a ship whose masts had fallen appeared, I used to think he was begging for mercy. My sister, on the other hand, believed that they were begging Sly to jump on and fight.
I think the line "Up your nose with a rubber hose" was derived from that show Welcome Back, Kotter.
When Muggshot saw his mom after Carmelita shot him, I think they're implying that he died. A lot of people claim to see their moms on their deathbeds.

The guards in Hazard Room were Octavio's...Bentley must have paid them off, just as Muggshot paid off the Black Baron's goons.
For those of you who don't already know, if you have the paraglider while replaying the first Opera of Fear mission, you can paraglide off the boats and onto the shore where Carmelita is, but she will not leave the edge to catch you...glitch, I suppose.
For those of you who don't already know this, when the Guru possesses a guard, press the square button to perform one of the guard's attacks.
For those of you who don't already know, the Dagger Island lizards will stop you and ask for a password if you approach them in disguise, just like a guard would.
For those of you who don't already know this, if you run toward the big truck instead of up Carmelita's boot laces, she will throw her car at you, and you die straight away.
When Sly spoke out loud to himself after getting the walking stick and moon stone, they should have had him thinking those sentences, like inner mind dialogue instead of saying them out loud.
When you play as Dimitri in Sly 3, his life meter icon is different from the one he had as a boss in Sly 2.
When Sly and Bentley were in the underground canal in An Opera Of Fear, it reminded me of the horcrux cave from Harry Potter.
Few of the moves Sly used for each ancestor's portion of the gauntlet corresponded to the ones he learned from their pages of the Thievius Raccoonus in the first game. For example, Slytenkhamun's part didn't involve the use of invisibility.

Dr. M tried to enter the vault for so many years, but he never found that entrance Carmelita went through? He must have been really frustrated to see her enter like that.
I used to think it was funny when Murray said he would start rowing people over because I used to think he meant that he would run over people with his boat.
The attacks that Dr. M.'s monster attacks Carmelita with are similar to the ones Panda King used on Sly during their fight.
If you beat Tsao in battle by taking his last life with electrocution (triangle button followed by x button to electrocute with your cane), Tsao will turn into blue smoke, indicating that he died-despite being alive in the following cutscene.
The DMTNT level expects us to believe that a cannonball isn't powerful enough of a blow to break the metal armor, but a bump from a wooden boat is?
In the setup video for Rumble Down Under, Sly says that the Guru could possess the weak minded.

General Tsao is without a doubt the darkest and most evil villain in Sly ever
Dr. M is possibly a reference to the mad scientist, Doctor Moreau, from H.G. Wells' novel, The Island of Doctor Moreau. Both have island strongholds with mutants and hybrids for guards. "M" may also be a reference to both "Moreau" and "Mandrill."

With the third game, the gameplay has a little changes, playing with the Guru, Penelope, Panda King, Dimitri and Carmelita. When I played it, I hoped that the characters would appear on the Hideout and select them but that wasn't possible. You had to select the classic three and see the progress of the mission.
But after all, Sly 3 was, is and will be a great game 😊
Dr. M reminds me of the Witchsmeller Pursuivant from the Black Adder.

It's a shame this game is the only one with a hazard room. It's also a shame that the three main gang members are the only one with hazard room training sessions.
I first started playing this game at a time in my life when I suffered from an irrational fear of scorpions, so when I played as Murray, I used to love running them over in the truck.
That's three down, and one to go. Also, when you're done with Sly, can you do the same for the Jak and Daxter games?
