That fuzzy bit on the the "throat" of the petal is the beard that gives the flower it's name - bearded iris :) Very beautiful artwork!

Wich kind of paper is the best for pencils?
It's really a personal preference, but I find that watercolour papers with a high gsm tend to be the best
Those are the reproductive items of the flower; stamen, stigma, anther, ovary, filaments, & styles are names for the parts. Thank you. Question; do you know the difference between the blue striped mono eraser & the chrome models? Thank you
Thank you! I remember vague names from science class at school XD I don't believe there is a difference. The eraser in both is the same, it's just the holder has a different colour :)
@@Amiehowardart Yes, I didn't know the names either, but at 81 I started doing 'nature journaling', think John Muir Laws (many videos), & my interest required it. Still, I need to have the chart/diagram nearby so as to label parts when I draw them. Thanks for the Mono info. Be well, Larry
