But Maine is a big state. Who knows where that ticket was sold. If it was sold in, say, Caribou or Presque Isle, you would need to prepare for some VERY cold weather until spring. Even Jackman is frigid this time of year.
Don't forget, if a commercial jet from almost anywhere in the US has an unruly passenger while over the Atlantic, the jet turns around, lands in Bangor, the easternmost airport in the contiguous US, and deplanes that passenger there. That passenger then must figure out a way to get picked up by a relative or friend without using air travel! That person traveling to pick up said passenger would not be a happy camper at all.
hey if anyone knows what Mike's top pet peeves are for other drivers so i can know not to do them to any trucker could you let me know where they are, I think that would be a win-win. 😬
Exit 193 was my destination. I miss it up there. 😢
Nice ride along interstate 95 north in Bangor ME
I think Fort Kent. Let’s see two amazing highway ends!
Weather wasn't ideal to make it up there this time around. I'll have to check it out another time.
So you're up there in Maine where the winning Mega Millions ticket from last night was sold - that $ may go pretty far up there

I had no idea you could do 70 anywhere in New England, and I live in Mass
I believe you're going to the border, Houlton, ME., and end this trip at the last exit in the parking lot of the Duty-Free Americas store.
Bangor? I hardly knew her!
Did you do Kittery, ME and Portsmouth, NH? Just wondering.
Nah. Houlton is the last city I got in Maine.
@@MileageMikeTravels You didn't get Portsmouth, NH either? Maybe next time.
@@ryanearles2024he already did it, pal
11:20 75 in the northeast? Am I living in a dream world?
Maine and Michigan are the only states east of the Mississippi with a speed limit of 75
In Maine, I-95 is 75 MPH from Old Town to its end in Houlton, the Canadian border.
Bangor, Maine is a big city but nothing beats Portland.

To clarify, easternmost commercial international airport. Houlton has an international airport, but it does not handle commercial aircraft.
@@edwardrasmussen3465 woah good to know

Probably the most annoying thing I've seen on the highway is left lane hogs on two-lane highways.
@@MileageMikeTravels if you mean using the passing lane as a travel lane, that's a lost cause. there's no hope.
