Even worse is that, its as if we didn't learn anything and still act underconfident when it comes to playing the modern game of Geopolitics.
    God Bless India.

@@318_ronitsingh7 I am not giving him chance to add them, haha. I add them on my own and if you are thinking why isn't he adding them in the description before the start of the session, the reason might be two-fold 1. It takes away the curiosity element, people already know what the questions are.
      2. Correlated to this is, some might directly leave the session if they don't see their questions posted in the description, thereby reducing viewership. Sir might not take a specific question of someone, but he takes a question on which there's a good amount of space to speak so that our cumulative knowledge increases. So timestamps before the session won't serve any purpose.
Anyway, even if he puts the questions in the description, the sessions being live, he can't put timestamps before the session for obvious reasons!! And mind you, he did put timestamps in the first 8 videos of #AskAbhijit show himself the very next day. So if I don't put time stamps, he'd obviously do it himself because he cares about us. He doesn't need to, timestamps are not compulsory. You might argue he puts it to increase viewership, but if you have some sense of judging people, you would know, Sir is doing all this because of his love for educating us and not for becoming a RUclipsr. Becoming a bigger channel and getting traction is just an aftereffect of these efforts, but the prime goal of Abhijit Chavda is to educate us, make us see the reality of our own country, learn from it and become a better and well-educated citizen of this country.
And, I add them anyway, why will he add them?😀

Exactly. Hinduism never propounds meat eating. Lord Rama was not a meat eater and as you've mentioned, in Arnaya kand, chapter 43, slokas 16,17 clearly speaks of the intentions of Mother Sita as to why she wanted that deer. It was to have it as a pet as its enchanting beauty would adorn the palace of Ayodhya after exile. Also in Ayodhya kand, before leaving for exile, Lord Rama promised Kaushalya mata that no matter how dire the circumstances might be in the forest, he would never ever take meat.
Apart from this one question, the rest of the discussion was very interesting and thing provoking.

*50:42** A correction here... There are plenty of mentions of Homosexuality and other sexual orientations and gender identities* (bisexuals, intersex, transgenders, etc.) *in Ancient Indian literature, probably more than any other nation's scholarly literature of the time.*
In fact, 'Homosexual acts' find a direct or indirect mention in all the ancient cultures like Greece, Rome, and China, but mostly in extremely negative and criminal forms like pedophilia or sexual abuse. _The only ancient culture where 'true homosexuals' were not just recognised and acknowledged as a group of people, but also accepted as normal human beings was India._
*Indian texts on biology and medical sciences (both Charaka and Sushruta Samhita) mention more than 12 types of 'third gender'* (the Sanskrit term used there is 'Tritiya Prakriti') *sexualities* and mention how it is natural and by birth (something which even many modern people try to deny, although scientifically proven). Apart from Ayurveda, other texts which discuss these sexualities in enormous detail, is *Narada Smriti.* In these texts, gays are referred to as _'Kliba',_ lesbians as _'Svairini',_ intersex as _'Dviretas'..._ (the list is long).
But homosexuals, their lifestyle, conditions, love and relationships are discussed in most detail in the Kamasutra, which also talks about *'gay marriage',* an idea which sounds too liberal even for our age.
    Here is the relevant quote:
*_"There are also homosexual citizens, sometimes greatly attached to one another and with complete faith in one another, who get married together."_** - Kama Sutra 2.9.36*
To the above verse the traditional commentary on Kamasutra called _'Jayamangala'_ by _Yashodhara_ states:
_"Citizens with this kind of homosexual inclination, who renounce women and can do without them willingly because they love one another, get married together, bound by a deep and trusting friendship."_
    _There are many other references._

    Let’s not forget that -
Britishers took over the reigns of our country after Turkic rule , which was anti- science , anti- technology. So we tend to believe that Britishers modernized us, whereas we went thousands of years backwards after these two colonizations.
    - Secondly, I read somewhere that the colonized world never had malaria. It came from Spain and other European nations who used to dig lands for rail tracks and leave them open. When the rain water used to get collected there , it bred mosquitos. And this introduced diseases like malaria, cholera etc in these nations.

I reckon Sanskrit remain a classical language which can and should be studied, India’s diverse languages have evolved with localised flavours and practices under the larger civilisational canvas. People of this country should first be decolonised of both Europe’s version of indian history and Marxist views of our rich history, which can only be understood and appreciated using the Indic lens via Indian schools of thought and parampara, sampradayas. Tamil in a big way has preserved our culture through palm leaf manuscripts, stone inscriptions, ancient temples..with the North bearing brunt of the invasions, it deserves an exalted place in our civilisational discourse

what i learned in history after the battle of kurukshetra the climate of north especially haryana, rajsthan etc. become deteriorated to such an extent that many clans migrated across indus for a time-being in Afghanistan u still found 2 districts of gurjar clan. if 9th century arab invasion repulsed by indian monarchs gurjar pratihara dynasty and chalukyas of south has formed an alliance defeated arabs at battle of Rajasthan. so these clans after some time came back in India since they preserved their culture over foreign land. kushan empire or emperor kanishka is the proof of that.

1:00:25 Very True, Sir. In Telugu also adding Sanskrit words will improve the quality of the sentence. The sanskritized form of Telugu is known as Grandhika Telugu which means literary Telugu. Telugu and Kannada even has "Chhandas" which is the Metrical poetry system first developed by panini in Sanskrit but Telugu and Kannada scholars adopted this system into native language because of the sheer brilliance and beauty this system provides. I was privileged to learn this in my school by really disappointed by the fact that all the other Indian languages do not have this feature. still if Sanskrit was made national language it would have been accepted by all Indians rather than weird Arabized and Persianized version of Kharboli language now known as Hindi. This led to an increase in using foreign language English as a lingua franca even though we have a really long literary tradition.

41:42 Guruji, you have gone wrong here. See, lets go in a logical way. If Rama wanted to shoot the deer then why would he run behind the deer for a very long distance. He could have just shot the deer in a blink of eye. this is mentioned In the 43rd chapter of Valmiki Ramayana (17th and 18th sloka). The next proof that Lord Rama was not a meat eater is that, When Lord Rama was about to leave for the exile, he says to his mother, Kausalya, "Hitva Ahimsam", that means I will not commit any type of violence. But historians interpret this in a wrong manner, saying before leaving for exile he was a meat eater. LOL! This incident has been mentioned in the 20th chapter of Ayodhya kand (29th sloka) in the Valmiki Ramayana. Lord Rama said, "I will let go of my kingdom but I will never forget my Dharma". And here he is giving the moral that let the situation be worser than you think, you should not forget your roots (Dharma). Let me starve without eating anything, but i will not forget my Dharma he says. In the ancient Vedic texts, "Mamsa" is also referred to as the peel of mango. So, people started creating their own propaganda, by telling that Lord Rama was a meat-eater. That's why we need to take the help of a fine Acharya before drawing our own conclusions from our Ancient Indian scriptures. By the way, I am a huge follower of yours and your videos Guruji. Admire you a lot. I just wanted to clear the misconception that many of our country have . Jai Hind Guruji 🙏🇮🇳🇮🇳

    1. Your thoughts about the theory of Graham Hancock, that there was a very advanced global civilization about 10-12 thousand years ago, which was then destroyed by a great flood that was caused by a comet "The Younger Dryas impact" & created Younger Dryas boundary.
    2. The Eye of Sahara (Richat Structure) is the most likely candidate for the City of Atlantis as described by Plato.

Their approach is correct studying the case of how the great conquerors ended up who only try to seek power. and how their empire ended up napolean Bonaparte, gengiz khan, hitler, timur etc. Instead indic empire rules the world through their softpowe or culture u can see how deep rooted the influence of indian culture over Asean nations. during chola empire hindusim spreaded over asean nations and during ashoka period buddhisim.

Your English is also flawless and I am sure you would do better with Hindi. You are right that the English have done us no favors with their language. Indians would have done just as well without it. I know Hindi and can vouch for the fact that ANY WORD in any language can be exactly written keeping to correct pronunciation. Can English, Latin or any language do that ? Thanks professor. #AskAbhijit : taking on from the confusion around vastra haran do you have something to opine on the "two-part" clothing adopted by both men and women. The upper garment was mostly meant for the people of significance while the general masses had one primary drape in the lower half. This clothing style seems to have been quite clearly described in Sita ma's clothing thrown down when being abducted by ravana as well as in the Mahabharata just before draupadi's harassment. The pandava s gave up their upper garment as they lost their independence and royalty to shakuni in the game of dice.

Absolutely true what Abhijit Sir had said about the connection between Sanatana Dharma and Zoroastrian religion. We do share the same ideology as both the ways of life have the same Vedic ancestry. I'm a Chittagonian (Chittagong, Bangladesh) Bengali Sanatandharmi from the Kshatriya caste, also known as Kayastha (not going to use Hindu or Hinduism as a religion because it's a term introduced by the colonists) who has an ancestral Zoroastrian lineage all the way from Kurdistan. Also, I appreciate the part of discussion where it has been said that Sanskrit is still alive. I believe language plays a very vital role in our very existence and identity. That's why we generally call someone Punjabi, Bengali, Angrez, Nepali, Malabari, Tamil, etc because they speak the respective languages. So, that becomes an identity.
Much respect for Abhijit Sir 🙏 because my personal discreet research matches almost all the time with what he presents in this channel.
