Great video. I was in a camp one time and a big ole bear came in through the door, took a loaf of bread and went on his way. He wasn't worried about me. That's my bear story.

Loaf of bread a day keeps the bears away. 😆 🐻

Fine trout spot for sure. Good trip even despite the bugs. June in NL is what it is. Thanks for the video, great job.

Another great video, I enjoyed it very much. There are a few bugs in Newfoundland lol, bug net would have been handy when the wind died down.

If you are going to release them try not to squeeze them by the gills.

Yes buddy , that’s a dandy spot there . I will take the bugs over work any day too. It’s better to feed the bugs than the bears .

Over here in Maine we don’t loose trout we do “long line” releases.

Oh man those bugs! They looked like deer flies too…..I hate those so much. Is that a Tilley hat you got? I got mine years ago with mesh inserts in the grommets, so it keeps the bugs out, but it’s a little warmer.
Don’t lose it. I just checked the website and they’re $120!
Great little trip. All those bugs, but it looked like only one afternoon was bad.

I get all choked up when I see the land the soil and wild blossoms of Newfoundland the place where I was born and raised as if its the only place in the world that's worth living in which is true tho I try not to brag to mainlanders and hurt their feelings so I just say Go to Newfoundland on your next vacation by' and I promise you'll go back every year after the first visit. Jeez I sure miss down home. .

Not at home. Its better off, but on my own in the woods for a week I'm a little more crude in my cooking. Lol.

Nice video but I cringe when I don’t see you wetting you’re hands before handling the fish. Many of them won’t survive.
