Then he rose from his grave on the third day, conquering death with death, as prophesied about him in the Old Testament. Then he appeared to his disciples and stayed with them for forty days, and then ascended to heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father. He will come on the last day to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
