the only hostess product I really enjoyed were the coffee cakes, and those are near impossible to find anymore. other brands have coffee cake, but those too are hard to find.
Don’t eat their bread. I had to eat it because it was the only bread the dollar store had (our grocery store in town closed recently) and it was SO sweet and gross. It wasn’t a good sweet.

So at my school we have these time capsule things we make in freshman year and get to open them at the end of senior year. I am just starting my senior year, but 3 years ago when I was a freshman, I put a pack of Twinkies in my time capsule. I'll be opening them this may (pray for me). But this video totally crushed my dreams of the eternal Twinkie. Thanks Chad.

I remember Hostess' competition taking advantage of Hostess' bankruptcy by making knock off Twinkies and raising there own brands prices (Tastykake and Little Debbie respectively). Also, a lot of the Hostess displays in grocery stores were replaced with their competitor's displays or had their competition's stuff stocked in them.
