More and more I realize that fly fishing is 20% fly fishing, and 80% gear and fly organization 😂

Not a fan of black-anything in terms of fishing storage. I don't keep any boxes out and in the sun as a general rule but the black ones heat up ridiculously quick and can/do ruin some flies. I recommend grey or the yellow ones. Appreciate you guys.

Every Box brand pretty much just uses the same flambeau boxes for the shell, so there shouldn’t be any difference in latches, hinges, etc. I do like the umpqua boxes, the outer foam is handy but I find that I rarely actually use it- the price on the umpqua boxes tends to be a bit better than some competitors as well.

Three of those smaller teal boat boxes will fit perfectly in a bass pro shop fishing back pack. It's changed my fishing experience immensely.
It's so much easier to get to my flies now rather than digging through a bunch of different pockets and boxes.
