I was never taught to eat with my mouth closed until I came to America because it was normal in our culture so I didn’t know the difference. Rich people were different though because they had to learn good manners. Also, in both Vietnamese and Chinese culture, it’s not nice to waste food and the cook wouldn’t be happy if I throw away food. That means I am saying her/his cooking is not good.

On the subject of being grossed out when people chew with their mouth open- I definitely think it’s a cultural thing. Being from the south as well, I couldn’t even begin to count the amount of times I’ve heard someone tell people to chew with their mouth closed (me included). It wasn’t until my friend explained to me before Chinese New Year that it is customary to make noise when eating to show appreciation of the food. I was very confused at first but after she explained it made a lot of sense. I think that’s the only reason I wasn’t shook when I noticed them doing the same thing, since similar with other cultures, it’s customary in Korean culture to make sounds/chew with mouth open when eating.

Jin doesn't call himself worldwide handsome all the time. He is actually very good at waiting for the right moment. The awkward moments come when people stare at him and wait for him to tell a joke. He is very funny and when allowed, suga and jin bounce off each other perfectly. Suga loves dad jokes, but his humour doesn't allow him to laugh at them. :) It's fun to watch him try so hard not to laugh sometimes :D
I can't stand watching people eating with mouth open and too much noises. BTS is the only exception.🤦😅🤣🤣🤣

The dad jokes are puns in the korean language so you'd have to know korean to understand them....most of us dont get them either tho so it's okay dont feel pressured :))) also i think you should watch squishy's intro to the members series!! you get a more in depth understanding of each member and her editing is so funny!!
On the subject of being grossed out when people chew with their mouth open- I definitely think it’s a cultural thing. Being from the south as well, I couldn’t even begin to count the amount of times I’ve heard someone tell people to chew with their mouth closed (me included). It wasn’t until my friend explained to me before Chinese New Year that it is customary to make noise when eating to show appreciation of the food. I was very confused at first but after she explained it made a lot of sense. I think that’s the only reason I wasn’t shook when I noticed them doing the same thing, since similar with other cultures, it’s customary in Korean culture to make sounds/chew with mouth open when eating.
