This one has me stumped tbh Every time i drop in a PNG file its a black box and its all over the object, even with tiles removed. I keep going back to the start to follow you and i do everything exact but still no luck getting it to work properly. Is there something i missing at all pls? I want to add a logo onto the side of a wax oil burner i have designed, any help would be hugely appreciated pls.
I think the easiest way to help would be if you upload your scene somewhere (with assets, so I have the PNG too) and I make you a sample file. It is hard to guess what could be wrong.
@@nikomedia Morning Nikolaus, that's very kind of you to offer to help, i think i managed to find away around it by adding the PNG file to the colour section and also in the alpha section. I'm going to try it again today to make sure it works properly and looks good in the project. Will keep you posted, thanks for the offer, that's very kind of you :)
I want to understand the basic modeling technique to model an object like your tutorial of making a DRONE and you start with a Cylinder and then creates the model. So what should I keep in mind before starting to create any model?
That all depends on what you want to model. Just watch some modeling tutorials and you will get a fell for it with what you start. That comes with the time. Sometimes I start to model 3-4 times until I find the best way.
Can you make a gumball machine where you see the gumball travel throughout the machine and come out in a cool way? Or just a gumball machine in general? Thank you!
Hi Niko, I want you to know that I appreciate your tutorials very much. I'm a beginner in Cinema 4D and your tutorials helped me a lot in my work. I just wish you would do a tutorial on how to use HDRI effectively in C4D. I have zero knowledge on how to use HDRI in my models. Please make a tutorial about how to use HDRI. I'm using VRAY as a renderer. Thank you very much and God bless you more.
Glad you like my tutorials, but unfortunately I never used Vray, so I can't help you with it. I use 99% HDRI to light my scenes and show it in every tutorial where I make final render. I use my scene rigs for lighten my scenes, but normally it is enough to put a material with a HDRI on a sky object.
Could you do a tutorial on making a gumball machine with a transpent middle where you see the gumball coming down and out of the machine? Or without the spiral in the middle. Or maybe both? Just a gumball machine where I can or cant see the ball travel through.. doesnt matter if i can see the ball travel or not, seeing it travel is just for animation i wanna make.. thank you!
Sorry, but without the project file I can you not tell what is going wrong. You can upload it somewhere (save with assets, so I have you textures too) and I will have a look at it.
Very nice tutorials you've got. I'm really learning from your tutorials. Just want to know where do you get these nice HRDI? Is there any site for that?
Glad you like my tutorials. The HDRI is from sIBL Loader Plugin as i mention in this video. The link to the plugin is in the video description. Everything is here ;)
Great tutorial, but you start off talking through what you are doing. Then in some parts, like when you imported the texture, you just speed through and mumble/not clearly explain the settings you are changing. This makes it very hard to follow and have to constantly pause/rewind to see the buttons you press.
u the man... i sometimes come back to your tutorials to remember how to do stuff... thank u
Sometimes I watch my own tutorials too if I forgot something :)
thanks
the part i wanted is at 16:06
alpha channel
copy texture to it
11:45 to skip setting up the scene and go straight to putting a picture on an object with alpha
Sorry, but I do not really know what you mean.
thanks broo :v

Hey Niko, wie bekommst du dein HDRI Hintergrund im Render so unscharf?
Ich wäre dankbar für ein Tipp :D
