You have no idea how happy I am that you've officially brought this game to your channel. What I especially appreciate is the fact that you're specifically playing the NTSC-J version, which defaults to the Japanese voices and doesn't have any of the grammatically incorrect subtitles.
It should go without saying that I'd love to see more KOF: Maximum Impact 2 playthrough videos from you in the future. This game is essentially a self-written love letter to SNK that's extremely fun to play and has a ton of single-player content to keep you occupied, along with an insane amount of stage cameos and references to SNK's diverse catalog of IPs or other forms of media through each character's costumes.

I played both KOF 2006 version and KOF maximum impact 2, i love KOF games, since i played in PS2, i very loved it.
OOhh man i love this game, played it like there were no tomorrow. Really sad Regulation A didn't make it here to america, but this one was an absolute gem. :)

This game's Mai was still voiced by Akoya Sogi five years before she was replaced by Ami Koshimizu (recently Yinlin from Wuthering Waves).

Gonna find this game somewhere . I have the first one as the collectors edition but man ... this game was very unpolished and broken beyond believe . Atleast it still plays well enough and the fan-service is still peak.
KOF MI was outsourced to Noise Factory, apparently (as we can see) a company that wasnt skilled at 3d graphics and animation. That was pretty rough for the time... the same time of Tekken 5 of Soul Calibur 3. But we could assume the own SNK was even less skilled at 3d, as they were always too focused on 2d and previous attempts with 3d were very rough like 3d Samsho games.
There are some nice parts about the gameplay but still not well put together. Still i found it tragic that SNK wanted to end the project, because maybe these games could finally play and look good in the transition to ps3... that never happened. I mean it's just like the history of Fatal Fury, that was rough at first but took some sequels to polish the lane switch mechanics. So maybe a "next gen" KOF MI on the ps3 would have been able to get everything right.
@@carlosaugusto9821KOF: Maximum Impact 3 and Regulation "A" 2 were canceled due to Falcoon not taking the negative criticism of the games well, along with his departure from SNK Playmore in 2009. However, he stated back in November 2019 that, to this day, he wants the spin-off series to reach a proper conclusion, whether it be in the form of the remaining installments that were originally planned to be released 15 years ago or a graphic novel.

Esse jogo provavelmente foi inspirado em Fatal Fury wild ambition, e o jogo ficou excelente, com elementos de Fatal Fury e KOF bem balanceados... nota 10bpra essa versão.

she is not only hot, but easy to use. I use her in KOF she can do effective to slam,evebtought against Rugal. But if Choose the character traits I more prefer girl like Athena.
