Seeing how well this prop vid has done, I am really excited for the prospect of propellor potential, the F4U being one of my most favourite aircraft, yet have not played a single sim match with it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, all in good time.
Love this video! I'm considering playing the US air tree in Sim (I refuse to play it in ARB cause it has an insanely high skill floor), so this video will really help with learning how to dogfight and such.
@@ConjointVR Do you have any tips for getting better control over my plane? I really struggle with aiming cause I'm constantly having to make minor adjustments to stay on-target, and I frequently get into flatspins when I pull hard enough.
@@purplfedora800 some planes inherently fly better than others, this can be from multiple reasons, the flight model, thrust to weight, manoeuvrability. adjust sensitivity that could help. But for propeller aircraft, anticipation is just as important as control input. Wait for the target to move into your sight, or put your sight into a position the target will fly into. This is something hard to teach, but lowering sensitivity may alleviate some struggle. Believe it or not, but for me, getting better in HOTAS, made me better in Air Rb with mouse instructor controls.
That’s a French prop in the tech tree, correct? If so I’ll be more than happy to fly something brand new at some point, I need to make a list with these requests
My screen definition is 1440p But I record at 1080p. My VR Headset is 1440 x 1600, the Quest 2 has more pixels, however they have smaller Screens/ FOV.
Please continue doing voice overs it really helps me with understanding the function of the planes and sim battle understanding
I love props please do more videos this was really cool
cool thumbnail style
Thanks dude
love the vid. ik these are opposite sides of the tech tree lol but can u try the F4u4B corsair in sim for a vid or maybe early jets?

That was nice to watch ! Do you think you could get kills in sim with the MB 157, with only 120 20mm ?

I honestly love the start up procedure in the P-51, I will try DCS one day properly.
Great video as always! Also, at what screen definition are you playing in VR? i´m considering getting a quest 2 for wt.
