Most of the wesen names are German. Hexenbiest literally translates to "witch beast" in German. Blutbad (Monroe) means "Bloodbath" and Fuchsbau (Rosalie) means "Fox Hole".

Grimm is a very intriguing show, that the protagonist Nick should be the star of the show, but in many cases, the "supporting characters" out shine Nick. There are so many memorable characters, they might as well be an ensemble cast. It sort of like we follow Chloe in the Lucifer show all day, and although they are good and nice characters, but they are not "fun".
I always wonder if Grimm changes its police procedure format, and instead follow Monroe getting surprise phone calls from Nick as the starting point for every episode, would this show still work?
"Her mum's just turning on her?!" Well she is a Hexenbiest & Adalind isn't. My one non-spoiler comment would be on how to pronounce Wesen, you say it as if it were spelt Vesen, it's a weird little German quirk.

Actually I think he's supposedly to be austrian. Like that's from where Sean's paternal family are from (Austria) and the cousin is related to Sean through his paternal family.

@@DaDunge Not German. Sean's family doesn't speak German. But they do live in Viena, which is Austria's capital city. Plus, his name doesn't have to be German. I think his mom is either British or American so she probably named him as she wished

This episode is terrible. The Royals have no way of knowing Nick has a key. This mother and his aunt worked for the Royals without realizing it, but those that protect the keys keep them secret. WE should spend more time on the dinner with Nick, Juliet, Hank, and Adalind. Adalind picks up on the tension between Juliet and Nick and Juliet notices the veiled hostility of Nick towards Adalind. Adalind sees an opening when Juliet excuses herself to go to the restroom and goes as well. Adalind suggests that Nick's hostility comes from feeling threatened by how educated and accomplished Nick is. Juliet is also highly educated as well. Nick would speak with Rosalie and Monrow after Wu passes out from what he has been eating and is operated on. While Rosalie and Monrow try to match one of her brother's lists to what might be affecting Hank and Wu Nick returns to the hospital and picks up Wu and stays with him at his apartment trying to keep Wu from eating strange things. When Rosalie and Monrow arrive with the antidote Nick is struggling with Wu to stop him from eating his own carpet. They get to Hank after Adalind has slept with him making the only way to stop it now is to kill Adalind. this is something Nick cannot do. Adalind offers to cure Hank in exchange for the key. Nick has done a lot of studying about Hexenbiests and remembers an entry about the blood of a GRIMM destroying a Hexenbiest. Rosalie helps Nick prepare a syringe of his blood. Nick refuses to give Adalind the key and instead fights her. Adalind is injected with Nick's blood, she falls to the ground and her Hexenbiest spirit leaves her body and plunges into the ground. Adalind stumbles away with the syringe in her hand. She goes to Sean's first and he realizes right away her spirit is gone and kicks her to the curb stating she is no longer of use to him. Adalind then goes to see her mother who realizes more slowly than Sean what happened. Her mother suggests getting revenge on Nick and Sean.
Is it too much of a hint to point out that there is a difference in title when you address someone as "your highness"?
