- This time I played "We're All Alone" from the album "WIZARD OF OZONE - Makoto Ozone's Best Selection" by jazz pianist, Makoto Ozone, whom I have great respect for.
When I first heard this song on CD, I thought, "I definitely want to play!" I fell in love with it. I immediately tried to find the sheet music, but it was hard to get, so I finally decided to "copy the whole thing by ear"...
Mr. Ozone's arrangement is bluesy, but also very elegant! and so beautiful that, I wanted to know the secret of its beauty, so I first tried to copy it perfectly as much as possible.(But there are still a few places where it's a little bit different... )
But it was a great experience and learning experience for me to try transcribing a jazz song for the first time.
Transcribing, performance,recording, editing... I still have a lot of challenges to do, but I'd like to output it here once.
It's a great song that I want to continue playing for a long time to come.
