My brain lights up in a kaleidoscope of rainbows when I hear these songs from Boz Scaggs. At 82 years old no less,
Sending you much love. I have a similar feeling from Boz. My very best wishes to you.
71 and hearing you, feeling 30 listening to this.
Back in 1975 my husband and I just started dating. I had the 8 track Silk Degrees. We used to dim the lights and slow dance to this song. We married in 1979 and had a son in 1987. My husband passed away in 2004 of colon cancer, he was 53. In 2009 Boz was in Tulsa Oklahoma. My son who was in college at the time, attended the concert with me . It was bittersweet but well worth it. Rest In Peace Wilbur and thanks for the music and the memories, Boz.
My friend David and I, both lifelong music lovers have attended 20 plus concerts in the past 6 years as best friends. He mentioned that one of his dreams was to see Boz Scaggs. For his birthday in October 2022
I suprised him with front row tickets to see Boz in Grand Junction Colorado. We made the trip from Albuquerque to fufill his dream. I was so honered to be able to make his dream come true for him. The concert was magical and we made our way safely home.
Three weeks later David passed away. I loved him as a brother and miss him tremendously. The reason for this comment is to inspire others to show love to the people in your life that really mean somrthing to you.
Don't wait to express your feelings. Fulfill someone's dream. Do it today, you will be glad you did.
RIP David Leach 😢

Boz is a wonderful artist. We’ve seen him in person many times and hes always put on a fantastic performance.
He’s one of the best singers we have❤
Wats up! I was singing this song way back 1978! Boz. Scaggs. My. Idol. Long time ago! What wonderful songs ! Fore ever !
How lucky we all are to hear this man's smooth voice!! I am grateful 🙏
Oh how I miss those years when this song hit the air waves in the 70's. I was on my teenage years. I love this song so much.
I've listened to this song since the 1970s. Have been listening to a number of different versions over the past few weeks. Every one of them makes me cry. I close my eyes and dammit, I could swear I'm 21 years old again. I'm happy, I'm sad, I'm in love, I'm lost, I'm all over the emotional map. I guess this is what "timeless" means. Just beautiful. I've never seen Boz Scaggs live, but he just "seems" like a guy who would be a cool friend. Stay safe everybody.
same feeling..
I have the exact same sentiment. This song does that to you.

This song is the music of my youth. It is in the long-term memory of my brain. I can never forget this song. I love this song!
Can't understand the 249 thumbs down. There isn't a "musician" nower days that can come close to this talent.

Exactly.
Possibly from people who haven't felt real love. Darn, this piece is timeless!
They don't have good taste.
Amazing artist. Boz Scaggs is still as talented as he has always been and his voice still sends chills up my spine and brings tears to my eyes every time I hear this song. This video was even more impactful!
Mr. Box Scaggs is one of my favorite musicians. I still have his old vinyls. I am an elderly Singaporean.

Now that is a voice! No auto tune here folks! Real as ever I like his singing!
One of my all time favourite songs….his voice gets better with age….beautiful….listening to this while waiting for a phone call about how long my aunt has…she has inoperable lung cancer…misdiagnosed 13 months ago….praying for her….enjoy every day you have…..it’s now later the same day…cancer has metastasized to her brain…..she’s only 66….I have no words…peace everyone….
This song had just come out when I met who would change my life forever. My Dad ended our togetherness when he realized this man was the one for me. My Dad wanted me to finish my degree and David wanted me to become the wife of a real Miami Vice. That was 50 years ago. Even though David and I went on to marry several other people, we always found one another when the ache inside would spill over. I found him again last September and learned that he longed for me as deeply as I for him. This song gently wraps around me like many layers of the velvet cocoon of the 70's.
Wow. I hope you and David can spend loving years together now.
So sad!!

A beautiful sad song. I don't know what another people feel about this song, but this song is really a tear dropper.
It's not supposed to be a tearjerker at least lyrically and thematically (as it was for a specific scene in a movie) but it certainly comes across that way.

Probably the most emotional love song ever written and sang.
I loved every song Boz has written and performed and his talent is impeccable to say the least. Boz's songs touches your heart in so many ways.
I don’t know if you knew that bar Skaggs and David Foster wrote that song for the urban cowboy love look what you’ve done for me you need to look it up because I explained it was very hard doing this song to make it look good with John Travolta Walmart so they did a collaboration on the song so you got to go look at that video
