I’ve got the 2024 version of this same model of Enyaq, and compared to my 2015 2L petrol Audi Q5? Let’s just say it’s like upgrading from a flip phone to a smartphone that also does your laundry. This car literally wakes up like it’s had three espressos the moment you get close with the fob-lights blinking, infotainment screen and climate control turns on, probably plotting world domination too. Once you’ve driven the Enyaq (or pretty much any other decent EVs), going back to petrol or diesel feels like trading a spaceship for a horse and buggy.
I have been buying Skoda since I started buying cars, and I like them a lot.... but those EV have a really small range compare to other cars in the same price range. I have seen a recent winter-test from Norway, where they loose a lot of range when its cold weather (one of biggest loosers in the test... )... and thats not good enought if they want be competitive with other brands.... The range is basically very poor, and should be better if they are to compete with the other car brands. I don't understand why Skoda dares to have such poor range on such new cars. If they want to compete with other brands, then it needs a much longer range.
@AUTOTVO I actually currently drive the skoda enyaq coupe 85. Looks identical to the one behind the car featured in this video. Looks like the vrs in the background as it has the 3 black lines down either side of the front bumper or maybe that's a new feature on the 2025 skoda
@Stimm002 early, it's a 2023 so not really, will never get a electric car again, utter waste of money, plus the depreciation is insane, when I had it back I will probably still owe money or have very little equity in the car for a decent deposit.
@@bigbikeralsadventures2620 it's still early now in 2024. Hense all the problems your having, that had it been a known quantity, would have been fixed or would have prevented you from getting one. Really the tech, I it's modern for is still within its first decade, that's early. A sign of this is that battery ranges are still only just reaching 300 miles. Many of the short coming still exist. All signs that it's early days, let alone the comparatively short time scale.
This is not the 2025; this is the 2024.
Anyways, this is one of the best EV around.
Agreed!

I agree, it's really a massive evolution from diesel! You have a great car!

Thank you for your feedback! I do agree that they kinda fumbled on the range, since the platform they from VW has better range in real life.
I'm a big fan of the ev skoda cars at the front end but i find the rear just looks ugly and disappointing
I appreciate your feedback! The design can be quite polarizing, and it's interesting to hear different perspectives on the car's aesthetics.

I have the 60, and thr range is crap
Yeah, we tested the 60 (from 2024) and it does have small range unfortunately
Early adoption of anything is nearly always bad.
