So lucky to be there and that Dutch guy knows everything about Elvis! These videos are awesome! Thank you
Wow to have seen those more personal request shows in 1975 must have been so special; had no idea Presley did those and I can certainly understand him wanting to experiment more during his grueling Concert schedule and mix things up a bit.
This is Truly Amazing
I just cant get enough of this. Good work here Billy. Thank you.
I love the way they have Elvis pictures all over the building.
When I see the stage, rooms and hallways of this place, I just feel like Elvis is going to walk by at any minute!
Leann Brooks Exactly!!! Oh, how i miss him!!
Marcia Chaves ❤️

You are truly keeping the Elvis persona alive!!!
Thank you you're the best spa guy tcb..tlc
Facts beat Fiction every time , Thanks spa Guy
I believe Lowell Hayes said Elvis asked for the Jewel box Hayes was carrying to be brought out on stage at those 1975 Ashville concerts and Elvis gave rings away to some fans.
Wow! How interesting! Didn't want it to end! Great job Billy, thank you for all your hard work, can't wait to see the next part!
Can’t get enough, Thank you Billy and friends.
“Sorry I couldn’t make it up there man,” Lol. Elvis the coolest.
Very Good! Thanks Spa Guy with another great informative Video for the Vegas performance years. Its put many things in perspective of How things were then.
Also, that photo of Elvis in the press conference room is absolutely fantastic 🕺🏻 ⭐️

It has made my day
Great memories Billy, wouldn't be awesome if we could go and see the place, and recount the steps of Jesus.

Fond memories yes, but 2-3 shows a night, ect 🎼was for sure tiresome. . . Great interview & again thanks for your great efforts, Spa guy!! . . . Always Elvis ~ 💕 Canada.

These Vegas videos are so awesome. I wish they were longer. Can't get enough of them. Billy, your the best...
Spa Guy,thanks again for all your in depth insight into how it was when the King was in the building.I couldn’t imagine going to see Elvis in ‘75 and writing down what song I wanna hear him play!Thanx again my friend and can’t wait for part 5.
Merci beaucoup my friend 😉 🇫🇷
Another great one 🤙🏼🕺
Thanks for this series, I learned a lot about the Vegas show. I had no idea he did so many shows there.
Great work on this project, looking forward to the rest.

Dagumitman! I want this to keep going!!! LOL!
Another fine installment Spa Master! The one regret I have is that I never got to see Elvis live in concert! Can you imagine what a memorable event to remember your entire life?!?!?
I didn't either it would have been epic!!
🤣🤣 tightening up!!
I like the way you search around like opening doors, etc. as I do the same thing!
Awesome!
Elvis standing up for the average guy about to lose his job. Col Parker told Elvis that these guys pay us $$$ so you can not tell them what to do. Parker of course cared less if Mario lost his job or got hit by a train. Wow great history in this hotel. Oh we have a lot of Elvis footage but we fans want more & more. Why? We can not get enough of this guy.
Spa Guy: I was talking to a gentleman about eighty years old the other day that lived in Memphis growing up. He said there was a pool hall that kids hung out and played pool at. He said Elvis and some childhood buddies also hung out and played pool there. Do you know of such a pool hall?
Hi - apparently some of Elvis' buddies belonged to the Oddfellows (not sure what they were exactly - something like a youth club organisation?). They rented space in the Lincoln-American tower on the corner of Court Square in Memphis and Elvis was known to sing there and play pool so perhaps it was this he was referring to? I pass by the building and refer to it in one of my own vlogs, but perhaps Spa Guy might do a more in-depth video - it may already be in his future plans!!
Spa guy thank you for sharing your videos love everyone of them
Wow, what a great video Spa Guy! I’m so glad you are there to keep all of this documented. I look forward to the remaining videos. Thank you for doing this, all my best to you, Cheers’😀
SG this series on the King at the Hilton is exceptional- well done and thanks. The Dutchman takes awhile to get used to but he is a wealth of Elvis information. If I took it right he has a book or two out on the King- I'll try and track down. The King sees your efforts SG- and no is doubt mighty pleased.
Spaguy I'm one of your subscribers Im liking the international hotel videos I collect alot of elvis stuff to
When I went to Vegas for the first time in 1985 I went to the International which was the Hilton by then. I enjoyed being there know that Elvis had been there too. L
Cool request buckets
An add-on to the Mario concert story is in between Mystery Train/Tigerman song , Elvis said "this song is dedicated to the hierarchy, the staff of the Hilton!" With the lyrics 'if you cross my path you take you're own life in your hands'! E was badass!
Thanks again , Keeps entertaining us that is really interesting what you are doing . TCB . Normand
This video had a lot of good info thank you !!! .
This is so cool, I’m loving it! I would pay to go on a tour backstage and downstairs there - such history and I recognize a few spots from the movie “That’s The Way It Is.” You are hilarious, Spa Guy (“You know what Elvis did? He tightened up!”) haha...
Spa guy we met charlie hodge at memories theatre in pigeon forge
How awesome about Charlie Hodge!!!!
Charlie to me was an awesome Gentleman.
Love Charlie Hodge!!
Hey billy this ur lumbee friend from North Carolina man I love these video but man I loved the part when u said Elvis was tighten up man that was funny to me u no I play guitar in church love to jam with u one day my friend god bless you
Great video Spa Guy. Great to see and listen to guys with such passion about Elvis.
Great Stuff!
These are great... this guy an encyclopedia..
3 shows a night?...that would kill.anyone...
Are there any stories of onstage Trainwrecks ...mustve occurred once or twice?
Looking forward to more
Cheers..M
Awesome!! Do you know if there are any videos of those ‘request box shows’?
Thank you, Mr. Spa Guy!
Elvis has just left the building )))
Great video as always. Looking forward to tightening up for the next part! Thank you so much!
Lugar onde o Elvis se apresentou e arrasou. Fez história e nos encantou com seu talento e genialidade.
Te amamos muito.
Obrigada SPA GAY.
I read that the Carpenters attended some of these shows in 1975
Thank you for these amazing videos..@)
Another great video!!! love these!!! Billy, why was Mario being fired? Cant wait for the next part!!! Take care, be safe..
who knows why did Elvis stop singing "Suspicious Minds" in the late 1970's??
Thanks Billy...for another insightful video...the main guy.,with accent...what are the names of his books..he has written?....ty again...hope all is well with you!......your friend... Bonnie
that man is arjan deelen and he has written two books about elvis, caught in a trap and walk a mile in my shoes
Let's see.......I would have requested "Stranger In My Hometown" or....."Gentle On My Mind". I know that in 74' Elvis told the band to step it up because Led Zeppelin were in the audience. Robert Plant says they went up to the penthouse and stood with Elvis talking for 3 or 4 hours. The mafia would try to break it up but Elvis told them many times to step off.
Billy sir, What does "tighten up every chance you get " mean????
Awesome
Billy tcb like allways much love from Michigan billy
I was just there and that picture of Elvis, Sonny and Joe is now in the Lobby by Starbucks. Unless there are 2 of them.
I think they built that hotel in like 14 months back in 68-69.....the town I live in has been widening a ONE mile section of RT. 6 for THREE YEARS!
I was supposed to see him there in August 1975. I was 10 years old and already a huge fan. He cancelled the shows. I'm still bummed to this day.
It seems the man just worked all the time. He was obviously paid well, but I believe part of the reason he had so much wealth was because he worked constantly. And imagine in the early days traveling around the back roads all over, how did they ever find where they needed to be.
Tighten up like Archie Bell and the Drells!
Did you find out anything about the birthday tribute from the Memphis Tennessee Symphony? It was when the stamp came out and they had a special one for that night my children myself and my husband got to go well ex-husband now who is a beautiful tribute they said that it would be out on DVD I would like to know about it or if you know about it?
The Europe promoter guy has a really thick accent it's for me understand him
He is from Denmark..
Stayed there on New Years Eve of 2020 to do what you’re doing in your video but the four stage doors was locked.
Part of the show Arjan was talking about has been released by FTD called Closing Night,it sure was a weird show but clearly shows how much Elvis had become tired of playing in Vegas by this point.
Spa Guy ? I heard Elvis liked Hawaii 50 . Did he ever get to meet Jack Lord?
Billy, did you get a chance to get where Elvis was walking in the hall and past the cafeteria and he wave at the workers
and 2 females were waiting for him on the stairs...and he went into a room?. where was that?.
It was down those back hallways but was unable to find it..
After the 2 girls, Elvis exits an elevator and turns immediately right and walks down a 20 foot long corridor straight into his dressing room. This is the same elevator his drummer exits in Spa Guy’s video. The elevator is almost exactly the same now and as Elvis walks down that 20 foot long corridor you can see the famous water fountain which is still there behind him. This 20 foot long corridor is gone now and a door stands at where it once began just like his drummer said when he exited the elevator. Great work everyone - really enjoyed the watch.
Does anyone know which book(s) this gentleman wrote?
this sounds nut but I would NOT NOT have wanted to have changed places with Elvis for all the money in the world. my fav song will always be Just Tell Her Jim Said Hello
No disrespect Billy, just curious, did any security guards come up to you when you were walking around and ask what you were doing there?
Stay Tuned.. 5-6 coming up!!
He was. Mentioning. About. Mario. It was. 9/3/73. When. He. Talks. About. Mario ' it's on. The ftd CD. Titled. Closing Night
what is the name of the mans book?
Elvis. Did. Do. The. Request box. But. 8/20/75. Elvis. Open. Up. With. See Rider. As. He. Went. Into. That's. All Right and than back into. See See Rider this was the midnight show.
denn4u What is with the periods?
Britt H I was typing on my tablet and it came up that way
I want to know what 4 numbnuts put a thumbs down
Maybe they should unsubscribe this is Elvis exclusives then only his fans could appreciate good detective work and tracking historical events
Do you think Elvis died on 08/16/77 ?
After looking at this video Mr spa guy it seems to me doesn't it to you that the overall picture of Elvis's life was kind of fire and ice there was a flurry of activity and then there would be a little from maybe a week or two weeks he would go horseback riding and relax and then it was a flurry of activity confrontations arguments whatever and that was his life
I'm enjoying these, but the Dutch gentleman is very hard to understand. Maybe it's just me and I'm getting old. I'd like to see some more of the pictures of when Elvis was backstage matched up (then/now). That is my favorite part. As far as the Colonel is concerned, I've seen pictures of when he had the hotel dressed up like a circus. It looked cheap and that bothers me. It comes across like a giant money-grab. Look forward to the next installment.
