I was just wondering the basic difference between 5G SA and NSA. For a beginner, this was a very informative video with precise info. Thanks Adnan

excellent effort for explaining jargon tech but if you offer books and collateral as freebies then you''ll have more anticipating audience which will benefit at large as in massive viewership and audience puller tools.

    I have a strange question.
Do you have experinece in implemenation inter-vendor NSA? For example, Huawei as anchor LTE and Nokia, Ericsson as 5G cell?
    Thank you

Thanks for the video! So mmWave (FR2) is used exclusively in Standalone? It's not utilized in NSA?

It can be. In use cases where ultra low latency is required, then that would be what is necessary. However I know at the moment Verizon, for example, is deploying its n261 as a NSA connection.

Hi Adnan, I've seen your articles in CommsBrief site. All the articles you've posted are very useful topis for everyone. My concern in simple, coming to 5G network in India. I'm using Jio5G in my iPhone13. Facing the issue while receiving or making calls. When in 5G mode ON, Facing issue the calls, they get disconnected automatically. While receiving calls aswel the same issue. I want to know why this is happening. Could you elaborate this issue for me?

Hi Ram, thanks for your positive feedback and sorry to hear about your 5G issues. There can be many potential factors for voice calling issues and it's best to get professional advice from your customer support directly. If I were in your shoes, I'd start with the basics i.e. check if the 5G coverage is consistent or if the phone keeps switching between 5G /4G/3G. 4G and 5G do voice calls differently (VoLTE/WiFi calling etc) compared to 3G so if there is a lot of switching there can be challenges especially if your network is also very loaded/busy. You may also want to check whether your calls are WiFi calls and if your operator offers that.

Yeah. I have 3 arms now thanks to 5G mmwave. It's useful though just doesn't look good.
