Wow such an underrated feature how Xbox does all this automatically. I can stream and when I download it it will pick up where I left off. Also quick resume is a game changer on Xbox.
I'm really having problems with downloading Ghost of tsunami on my PS5 i download the game in my PS4 i got a ps5 now I paid the upgrade but it don't let me download the game it show as purchased
Thank u. Not exactly what i needed, but it guided me to the same idea. And now i have all my ps3 save progress ported over to the cloud streaming service
@@hidahdayodyoda2386 hi. Are you on console or pc streaming? I was able to do it via pc streaming but have not tried if it works the same on console. Would love to help either way

Appreciate the video, you are clear and concise but this is about the tenth video I’ve watched and still have yet to figure out how to transfer my saved data from streaming red dead 2 to my downloaded game. It’s very frustrating. Streamed on ps5 and just want to use the saved game on my downloaded game on my ps5. But every video is game specific. So I have no idea what to do for red dead 2.
Good video, but not exactly what I was looking for. My problem with my ps4 saves right now is that my ps4pro broke, so I can't check those saves, but most of them should be uploaded to the cloud. But I know for sure not all. I had a lot of games on an externsl drive, and I just plugged that right into my ps5 and downloaded all the saves from the cloud. Thing is, I've also played on my mom's ps4 and my second ps4, and if a game is not on the row of the home screen of the ps5, where you can select the Upload/Download saved data and thus check the date, but instead is only visible in the extended usb storage game library, you for some reason don't get this option. So I would have to start a game, and thus creating a save with todays date to be able to compare, but then that new on will always appear newer. This also prohibits me from turning on autoupload for ps4 games since then I risk the ps5 overwriting my old save in the cloud with a new blank one. If I've understood this correctly. We desperately need a better way of managing this I think. If you have some tips I think it would make a great video!
Ye man i streamed ghost of tsushima and had a month of gameplay on it then i bought the game while later to finish the game, But then when i loaded it up again all my data is gone even when i tried upload it again from the application management, anything i can do no?
Do you only have to transfer it over if you have it downloaded not streaming? If I stream I have a PS4 upstairs and downstairs the saved data isn’t there 😔 I don’t wanna keep having to switch them over
Another thing entirely, if you know how those of us who have thousands of things on our ps3 download list, which is impossible to scroll through without the ps3 crashing. How do we find our stuff? And what if we bought something, but never downloaded it? Just some ideas for future vids. ^^ I think Sony really has handled our ps3 libraries in a horrible way. I still have 3 working ps3s and Ill keep using it for a very long time.
When I click the PlayStation button it pops up as the normal thing and doesn’t have the option for application saved data management. Could someone help me get this fixed?
what id like to do is pull my horizon forbidden west save from ps plus, and put that on my PC locally and use that save with PC ported version. its doable on ps5. but i believe im out of luck with what my goal is.. notice, i do NOT own a playstation console anymore. not since PS4 was hot in rent a center. PS3 was my last console. and all my 163 games that were tied to that account, are gone. and now only 4 of those exist in my account for whatever reason. never the less, who uses ps plus if they own a playstation?
This is a scam. Downloaded a game after losing the service that I used to get the game. Get on the game and I've lost all my stuff. I don't want to buy the service again but I want all of my things. I don't want to have wasted my money
Yep. It actually took me ages to work out how to do it. And you have to remember to upload the save to the cloud each time you play if you are going to be moving between streaming and installed versions of a game.
@@SquadHunta117 Xbox is seamless. It honestly drives me nuts when I start playing on PlayStation because I’m so used to not having to think about it. And it’s actually far worse than I’ve shown here. They will save to the cloud.
Is there a space limit on cloud storage?
Yes, one off about 110 gbs
