Car is junk I had The Misfortune of buying one brand new. It's been in the shop 5 times... Left me on the side of the road 2 time's and is currently back in the shop right now as we speak. I got it with 23 miles on it it now has 13500.
AbsoluteMdot I called a lemon law lawyer. They told me it has to be in the shop 3 times for the same thing it's been in the shop 5 times 2 time's for the same thing. It's really loud almost sounds like a diesel when I start it when it's cold. Or it could sound like a pulley bearing going out it's been in the shop twice for this but they say it's normal. Now when I put the car in reverse and back up and hit the brakes it's metal-to-metal contact they also tell me this is normal supposedly. The lawyer told me it has to be fixed for the problem three times and fail three times. First was a belt broke but left me on the side of the road okay no big deal. Second time was actually the water pump. As far as the noise he had it for 3 Days told me he couldn't hear anything I told him not to start it till I got there. Started it right in front of him and of course it made the sound he looked at me and told me I owe that's the noise you were talking about that's normal. But over the phone he kept telling me he couldn't hear anything.
It may be a lemon! I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this. I use to have a 97 Eclipse Spyder I had it for 13 years and just got rid of it back in May I miss It terribly but it was definitely time for me to get rid of it. I was eyeing up the 2017 Lancer Se but still undecided. I hope everything works out for you.
AbsoluteMdot I understand no car is going to last forever I understand belts wear out but the water pump that quickly. The brakes sounding like they're metal-to-metal contact when I hit the brakes in reverse supposedly normal come on. Car sounding like a diesel when it starts up when it's cold every time normal. It started having problems when it hit about 10,000 miles. Love the way the car looks like the way it handles but other than that I'm not impressed. And maybe it is just a lemon if you buy one maybe you'll have better luck I know they say Mitsubishi are really good vehicles. First one I've ever owned and again so far not impressed.
AbsoluteMdot oh and one other thing if you get one it doesn't come with a spare tire just thought I'd let you know. Supposedly it's to keep the cost of the car down for the customer lol.
Low key my dream car
Same bro
Also me lol

Who’s watching in 2019?
