Absolutely amazing brother, you're such an inspiration to me. I'm studying Fine arts and will probably perceive in specializing in ceramics. Keep up the good work
Dear Florian, thank you for all the knowledge you are sharing with the community of potters and ceramic fans. I love your crackle glaze; is it food safe and easy clean up?
Why is the bottom left unglazed? I had one bowl with unglazed part. It is super hard to clean up after dinner. And I hate the feeling of touching/scrubbing that unglazed bit.. so I’m just curious. Is not glazing the bottom entirely for aesthetics?
As there's no foot well in the plates. It couldn't be glazed as if it was the glaze would fuse with the kiln shelves. All ceramic pieces have unglazed parts, most of them are the ring of the pot that touches the kiln when firing
Dear Florian, you use very nice colour of your glaze!! Can you tell me please the producer of it and it's commercial name? (or did you make the own recepture alone?) thanks a lot, Have a nice day !! Gabriela
The process is way more fun and challenging, and the coning that he does prevents cracks better than just using a rib on a circle. He can also control the thickness better than a slab roller that he doesn’t even have and like the other people said, clay is incredibly recyclable
I can understand why you like using that glaze. It is gorgeous !❤
Love seeing that you use diamonds core. I use a number of their products and find them well made and their customer service wonderful.
As always, an amazing and relaxing video to fall asleep 😊😊😊

You should make them in Black too. 🖤

What is the most difficult thing to make that you sell? 👍
Do these not warp bc of the small curve in on the bottom?
Amazing Skill

I believe he makes his glazes!
Can you order these?
You are too good. I hate you
A video without your doggie in it is slightly less fabulous.
... but only slightly!
🙂👏
why not just cut a circle out of a thin sheet of clay? seems awfully wasteful
It would explode/break in the kiln. Also, any. Clay you dont use can just be remolded. He has videos about his personal process for this.

I think it would have a great potential to warp that way plus hand building isn't his style!
