This video contains several errors, for example you didn't specify to install the Tucked Hair mod in order for Dragon Age redesigned to function correctly.
@@ponponmods To be more specific, the mod author specifies that Tucked Hair is needed for the "AESTHETIC" and "RECOMMENDED" versions. It is not required for the "LORE" version.
Thx for this homie, wanted to play all the games before I try the new one coming out. All the other guides had me mad confused... took me awhile to come across this video, YT needs to recommend this video more than the others, they slackin frfr
I think the very important “Advanced Tactics” mod has been overlooked. It allows you to fine tune your squad's AI via the character tactics menu, which extremely improves the “quality of life”.
The game no longer launches after installing the 4GB patch. Steam gives me the following error: Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition failed to start (error code 51). Does anyone know how to solve this issue? EDIT: It turns out that the Steam version uses an encrypted DAOrigins.exe. A work around is to replace that exe before using the 4GB Patch with a version found on the Nexus Mods. The mod is called ''4GB LAA patch compatible DAorigins.exe''. Simply replace the DAOrigins.exe in the game folder with the one from Nexus and then apply the 4GB Patch.
Honestly, the fact that it's not some guy talking, and instead it is just relaxing music and text, makes this so much easier to follow, for me at least.
I literally opened the new game, looked at character creation, uninstalled and refunded, bought all the og games instead lol, the new one just looks and feels like ass
Myself and another are currently making a total overhaul of the textures for DA:O. I've refused to play it until I've messed with all the textures in the game.
Thank you so much! I bought the three games on EA last night since they are on sale. Can you please make a mod list for the other two? I bought the games not knowing anything about the crashes problems and all that I have never modded a game before.
Nice video! I need the 4 gb patch if i have a GOG version of the game? And a second question if i use the mods i can safely transport my save to Dragon Age II?
haii can i ask you about the override folder??? how can you get those? since i didnt haave it :( so it's very confusing to start modding on DA:O, thanks in advance!
sure! Go to C:/documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override. If there is no override folder you can just create one within the core folder and it should work the same. PS I love your astarion icon ^^
Thank you for this video! It was really helpful and I loved the mods you used!! 😁 Hope I am not bothering you, I was also returning to this game after the announcement of the new Dragon Age game. One of the mods I liked to use before was Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors. I know you didn't show case that mod in the video, I seem to run into an issue where none of the skin tones work and the hair colors are all white and eye colors are all black (I have my settings on highest). Do you perhaps know what the issue is? Or if anyone in the comments may know I would love the assistance. Thank you so very much😉
@@ponponmods Yes I did. I got the hairstyles that I had downloaded but not the colors. Even when I have Pineappletree's by itself it wasn't working. :(
