NO its 10*pi*r, sir kabhi galat nhi ho sakta
2πr=2×5×π=10π

√100+100π^2 can be written as √100(1+π^2)
Now, take 100 out, it becomes 10.
Thus Answer = 10√π^2+1

Bcz 5 is radius and the distance travelled is in circular motion...hence calculating the perimeter of circle only

why is it 5a in string question?
First face is in repetition so 4 faces plus one face in front.
Always try to cut the figure and develop the surface, you can observe easily then.
Sir where is ur centre?
THE SHORTEST DISTANCE CAN ALSO E CALCULATED BY OSERVTION, AS STRING COVER THE HEIGHT IN 5 TIMES, SO THE HEIGHT COVER IN ONE FACE WILL BE A/5, AND THEN WE CAN CALCULATE THE LENGTH OF STRING ON ONE FFACE BY PYHTAGORUS AND MULTIPLY IT BY 5 . WE'LL GET ROOT 26A.

in the cylinder one, why cant the horizontal length be 5+5+5+5=20? same as in case of cube or cuboid? why only perimeter.

27:00 If you are talking about this so let me tell you how can you take 5 for times because horizontal length is calculated by 2πr which is base of cylinder(circle).what you are doing is taking radius for 4 times for horizontal.let me know if you are not looking this question.
