I went there in 1999. I was 19 and with my parents, too. There was no water park. There wasn't much of anything, but it was still cool. They had alcohol and I had a fake ID though I didn't need it. They also had weed(in Nassau) I sat on a beach down near a private side of the island, and smoked a fat joint. Good times and good memories. Have fun! 😊

I went there this past summer and it was great. The waterpark is great and the views and beaches take it over the top. South beach was incredible. I agree that it has perhaps the most beautiful water I’ve seen. Glad you had fun!

I didn’t know Coco Cay existed, but looks like a lot of fun! I used to go to water parks almost every summer when I swam competitively and loved my experience on Royal Caribbean as well when I went to Bermuda. Hugh made me laugh pretty hard when he yelled, “ I don’t want to do the green one!” 😂😂 Glad your mom faced her fears riding the trap door slides too!

Not to be a huge nerd but ACTUALLYYYYYY the tallest slide in North America is Jungle Jammer and Thrillagascar at the Dreamworks Waterpark at the American Dream Mall in NJ 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

My mom is 81; I know she likes waterslides, but she wouldn't like the climb, or having to travel there if it's too difficult. But I love this video and thank you for posing!
This is my #1 water slide! The whole island was surreal since it’s been my childhood dream to go there and that thing feels a lot taller than it is.
It’s an incredible place! I cannot believe it exists.
Im a waterpark enthusiast. And Not to be the umm actually guy. 🤓 ☝️ but it’s actually the 2nd tallest waterslide in north America soon to be the third tallest. The drop slides at American dream mall are 140ft. The one at mt Olympus is 145ft.

I’d love to visit, but due to their restrictions on filming onride, I likely wouldn’t vlog it.
@@CoasterDashI totally understand. I’ve seen quite a few videos on Volcano Bay where a few slides were filmed, but I don’t know what they went through to be able to do that. I’ve heard it’s an extensive process

I went here once and I was to chicken to go on the rides cuz it was a few years ago I missed out 💀
An incredible water park! Honestly, as cool as Devil's Peak was, the little trap door slide was even better in my opinion. That things punchy! The vertical slide, despite the lack of height, was great too. It was surprisingly uncrowded on my visit. Devil's Peak even, was merely a 15 minute wait by 12 in the afternoon. It would be great if they could add a water coaster someday, but even as is, this place is great, a must visit water park for sure. Just a shame you can't get to it without going on a cruise...

Say! I've been to that place before! More than once, matter-of-factly. I didn't know what to go in expecting out of Perfect Day at CocoCay, but in the end, it's worth to book when you have the opportunity to stop there during your cruise trip. Daredevil's Peak is what I like to call "The Intimidator(Now "Project") 305" of water slides. If you've ridden, you know exactly the kind of intensity I'm talking about. Roller coasters aren't the only amusement rides I've ridden at a different country, but water slides, too. In fact, I rode an international water slide before an international roller coaster. Another country I've ridden a water slide in is Dominican Republic, which if you ask me, is much more about the water slides. I can see why, because a country like Dominican Republic needs those. I like that you got to check it out, Marc. Oh, and my first visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay was in early August 2021. To conclude, I'm glad I got to ride Daredevil's Peak when it had the record of the continent's tallest water slide. It's pretty much the selling point of the water park over there. What do you think of what I said? Accurate? My apologies if you don't like it. I had a lot to say after seeing that notification pop up.🤭
