Saw the, "Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends" tour back in the Seventies, third row from the stage.....Blew my mind.
I had great seats for that show too. So memorable and mind-blowing. Did Journey open for them when you saw this show?
I was too stoned to remember if I went. Montreal.
Superbowl of Rock mid 70's , Chicago , yes they did not disappoint!!
How is it possible to even start to create something so magical.
Well, the composer Alberto Ginastera wrote the original Piano Piece, and Keith Emerson adapted it for ELP.
I knew Keith Emerson quite well, he used to drink in the Six Bells, Chidingly. Sad that he killed himself when depressed and could not play any more.
One of my ELP favorite pieces. (They said Ginastera loved it to!!!)

And they did this live as well awesome

How is this an alternate version? It appears to be the same as the original. Has Carl Palmer subscribed to this site and what does he say about copyright?
I think percussion solo is different. Tympani sounds like tuning is different too.
@@marvinlewis2095 The percussion solo sounds the same to me. My ear is not good enough to comment on the timpani tuning.
