But then again, he was in his "prime" many times during his life, most notably in Rio and Unplugged, in my opinion. A talent to be reckoned with and probably never to be seen or heard again by anyone else.

Despite the fact it caused George many problems around this time I actually loved the period where he was disputing Sony. It meant he sang covers of already legendary songs and made them so much better! His version of if you were my woman, sexual healing, loves in need of love today, the long and winding road, all come to mind and I just love the fact he gave these songs a new lease of life.
