I’ve been learning to trade for 2 years and his mentorship dropped the bomb on my head. I can now wake up, look at the charts and think ‘oh, that’s where they’re going today’ and act accordingly. Really shocking stuff. Good luck xx
Go through the 2022 mentorship. After that if you want to go deep I suggest Market Maker Series, Primer Series, Optimal Trade Entry(OTE) series in that order. What really helped me, Hannah, was just watching the price action on the 1 min and/or 30 second chart. Michael said that all this is fractal. What can be observed on the HTF can be observed on the LTF, so, just for the benefit seeing more price action that creates the same scenarios in a forward testing environment, I highly recommend watching 1 minute and sub-1 minute charts.
I'd annote the charts as I'm learning and as it progresses on the 1 minute, waiting for the kind of reactions I'm looking for. Real confidence booster.
ICT is actually talking about advanced concepts already from the start of the mentorship so if you are a beginner it's actually better to learn price action and more basic stuff first then move to ICT for the advanced learning
I think the best way to learn and understand a chart is to look at it patiently silently for a very long time. The. It will reveal what’s gonna happen and the silence is going to help us to develop the intuition skill. This is my experience!
I love the video! Keep on going. Once you have truly went through the process of backtesting, backtesting and backtesting you will be shocked in how the algo's deliver prices. I'm a 16 year old ICT 2022 student and i'm in love with the model. Once you see it, it's beautiful. It's perfection. Keep going 💚
Keep up the good work! I’m a huge ICT guy he changed my life. Just want to say find whatever concepts you really like and understand and build your plan off of those. Pick the ones that really make sense to you and test them. They will always jump out to you on your charts. Then just give it time and experience. You don’t need much if you stick to 2:1 or better setups. Stay calm. Rinse and repeat. No emotions:)
I'm not actually switching strategy but expanding my understanding of the market. I used to use imbalances to confirm an area of interest but ICT made me understand I can use that for entry and also more clarity on Time & Price!

Glad you're hopping on the ICT train! His concepts transformed my trading! Been going through his content since last year. I recommend going through the comments when possible in your free time, sometimes there's some good nuggets in there in his replies to people as well.
Brilliant video; I really like how you plan on sticking to your current strategy but are willing to seek other strategies in order to add more tools to your arsenal. I enjoyed the most episode 18 of the mentorship videos as well as keys to the weekly and daily bias. I found that there is nowhere else where this king of teaching is taught. This stuff is worth a lot, it is amazing that he is putting this up for free on youtube.

This very video will always be nostalgic to me. This introduced me to "ICT". Thank you Hanna I always mention you when people ask me how did i find ICT.
I'm on ep 10 atm, it's eye opening how else would I describe it.. i watch each ep multiple times, first on the side to get the basic idea and then focus on it properly taking notes and backtesting trying to find my own examples to save them up

I would like to share my strategy that I've learned while watching the mentorship. Step1. Find 4hr bias. Step 2. Look for imbalances being filled(fvg) on 1 hr chart in direction of bias. Step 3. Drop down to 1min and look for triangle pendant price action (look at mentorship #12). Step 4. Look for nearest equal highs/lows outside of the penant for my TP... this is for intraday trading. I will say this. Out of all the videos. Mentorship#12 was gold for me personally. That episode is by far my favorite

Yes and understanding price action in the firsthand really help me understand ICT faster
What I can say is that their are profitable traders out there that do not trade ICT concepts, however incorporating his concepts into your trading strategy I think will make you more aware of what is going on in the charts. I really respect the fact you are doing this it takes a lot of character to go out of your way to spend time whilst being profitable already. I am a ICT student however I believe that the right mindset and personality can be profitable in trading regardless of what type of system you use or what you have been taught. Good Luck Hannah!!
I think you are on the right track, you don't want to destroy your foundation, after all it has gotten you to this point. This is a quote by Bruce Lee that is very apt ""Absorb what is useful. Reject what is useless. Add what is essentially your own.". I think based on your trading style you will notice that his concepts will complement and enlighten your trading methodology.
What helped me a lot was I looked at my old trades both good and bad and tried to determine if in using ICT concepts would it have aided in better entries (RR) or avoided losses.
My advice would be watch, internalize, test each concept and absolutely don't try to bing watch. I have found that the most benefits come when each of the concepts have become second nature before moving on.

Hi, I've been watching some of you video and I'm pleased to see that there is still plase for retail winners. I don't say its bad, but i just never find sense on retail books and parerns. There was always somting missing, till i found ICT. Structure can be seen with diferents eyes and concepts. The most importent is to have as backup tons of hours of reserching the market to obtain just maybe one thing that is high probability and stick to it. In my opinion a good tested strategy and high level of discipline and patience its the key.
Back to ICT...
i can say that since I'm learning from him he never lay in not even on thing. But his content can be very dens most of the times, and that puts us as students to study his concepts to obtain probabilitys. Witch is the key of understand and believe what his teaching. Spacialy when coming from the trend line understanding.
In conclusion keep on going you will see how far you will get if you really dedicate the needed time

I was waiting for this video! so glad that at the Episode 1 you are already learning new things! little advice, watch 2 or 3 episodes, stop and backtest what you learned for at least a week or so, that way you are gonna be able to really understand the concepts and learned. Its gonna be a solid foundation! Keep doing it, gonna wait for your nexts videos :)

I believe you get the basic concept of ICT's Fair Value Gap in the RUclips video "2022 ICT Mentorship Episcode 6." In this episode, a Bearish FVG is identified after the price action goes above the previous swing high and the gap is then calculated from that area. Conversely, the Bearish FVG is identified after the price action goes below the previous swing low and the gap is then calculated. Hope this helps.

Omg lolllllll. I laughed so hard. Yes I overloaded myself with ICT's videos but believe me Hanna if you stick with it. You will see the truth. And his actual paid mentorship is much more tedious at times too. He is the best teacher you can have.
I studied start with Trend lines 2015,BBMA 2016,Supply and demand 2017,BTMM 2018,ICT 2019 to this year and I combine all of them
I legit feel the same exact way as you. Learning from people that already have a solid solid backbone and a profitable take on price action. We all see markets in different ways, but it’s not like we’re going to completely re invent the wheel here, some concepts will remain and we might re-arrange things here and there but the backbone will likely just be the same. It’s really confusing when others preach to create your own system bc “you can” lol, like- we can to a degree (me looking at comments). We all have a different eye anyways, and a lot of people that “come up with their own thing” for the most part use same concepts and new words anyways so nothing really changed. Someone like ICT legit said in one of his videos that he’s teaching us things he’s technically not supposed to and that’s why he’s had to come up with certain words; he clearly had access to things most of us just don’t. Price action is price action tho, I think that’s also why I wanna learn some SMC and I’ve been watching ICT as well. I’m currently trading using support/resistances break and rests etc, but I struggle with entries for one reason or another. It’s my understanding that using ICT methods seems like it can make it so clear where u have to enter that it should be a great addition to my arsenal for that reason too, maybe it’ll help me practice that part of my trading more. It’s that logic that is helping me personally and I’m glad to see someone online sharing similar views on it. 💯thanks for sharing
thanks for sharing kat! like you said (and i totally agree), we see the markets all differently :) as for those entries, i know as we put the work in to learning and testing and collating more data - the confidence to execute will come as a by-product of the work we put in!
and i’ll be documenting that journey. i’ve been trading for nearly 5 years, it’s happened so many times where i learn something new that resonates with me, i test it, i trade it, i make losses, i make wins, but in the end, i refine and until it becomes my own personal profitable system :)

I have been following other peoples strategies and trying to implement it with my vision on the market for years. But without success :-). Because each of us has a different vision on the market, it's unrealistic to think you can just copy a guru's trading style. My current trading strategy is one that I developed myself and it's the result of everything I learned along the way. Keep improving, keep learning and never give up!

To Readers: if you're new to trading, please, I will recommend you start learning and understanding the markets behaviors using the ICT old videos about the markets.
cool video. if people are asking for recs, he has a market maker primer series playlist that goes through more foundational stuff/is a gentler intro to his concepts. glgt.
ICT stuff is not beginner friendly but if you are a beginner, you have an advantage bc your mind is clean from retail stuff. Stick to it and you will get it.
Good work! After I did the ICT stuff I did a 2 month stint in Vertex and they helped to actually show how to execute the stuff Michael teaches.

After watching his 1 or 2 episode it blown my mind I thought to go for live execution but it's better to have Patience and learn first
Easy way to see price compression and then into explosive price action is using bollinger bands. When the bandwidths of the bands expand price action gets juicy.

and one of the things I have discovered as a previous SMC trader now an ICT trader is that, you'll have to neglected what you're used to totally before you can start understanding ICT concepts... that can be pretty bad.

Good luck Hanna, what makes more money is not the strategy but the trader using the strategy, what ever is in the market is just impulse and correction and continuation. I have studied all these strategies i know all of them.The only difference is the juice terms used on each of them.

His paid for mentorship had a lot of gems :). Pretty similar to the 2022 mentorship but in the paid one he goes waaaay more in depth. But his yt content is very beginner friendly I would say! enjoy the journey hannah!

As much as some would like to argue back and fourth,
Any 'mentor' is simply showing you a way that THEY interpet the price structure.
Your brain will determine if one works for you, we all process information different.
Many will just not be built for it at all.
Expand your info on how to read a chart, but do not settle on a 'strategy'. A strategy is guessing

@@danforex he does but this filters out the ones that don’t really want to learn. Imo there’s nothing special about the way he trades it’s just a simple break and retest reversal trapping the traders that played the break out rather then the continuation of the higher time frames.
ICT is just a goat, it’s just for few people who want to take trade seriously. I learnt a lot by watching his video. God bless my man.

When you really get these concepts you hardly ever lose a trade and sometimes go a while without a loss🤞🏻 it really does become super easy
why are you sitting there lying to people? He even mentions there will be losing trades and periods of drawdown. Statements like that are how newer traders blow up their account.
How do we apply to 2022 ICT RUclips mentorship to higher timeframes? I see it on lower time frames ok but I can’t because of working 12 hour days 5 days a week.
