@@MikesHobbyPlanet No one's holding that against you, but when you have a part that you used on 2S brushed motor 1:10 scale cars.... yeah... throw all your Deans connectors in the trash. They're a relic... and a liability. Also, my noob life was made many times easier when I bought a "real" solder iron and watched the Pacer video series on soldering. Cheers-
Gotta love the Goblin 380. As others had mentioned, it's best to take the blade holder off and let the flybarless unit initialize before touching it. The 380 has been one of my favorite helis for the longest time. It's such a fun little Heli and the parts are pretty cheap. But I agree to use the xt60 connector over the deans. Have fun buddy! Soon you will have a 700 size Heli and really get addicted lol
Oh and NEVER leave the blade holders on when you put power on the heli. You can easily destroy your servos that way. Other than that, cool. I love the 380
Old video but man lots of RC trolls here. You’re a patient good man for your humble replies to the “advice” these RC nerds posted. Here’s my advice, “have fun, enjoy the hobby, keep being the good person you seem to be!” I enjoyed the video.
From what I can see you have the aluminum servo mounts. I have not built mine yet but did buy the aluminum servo mounts as I'm not a fan of plastic. Nice flying, luv the sound and cant wait to get mine air borne.
Cutting off a 60-amp connector to replace with a 45-amp connector from the 80s... and a cold solder joint... on a 6S heli. Brilliant.
I guess I really am a noob

It's my dream to own a 700 size
That 389 sounds nice!

Thanks for the tip
That looked more like gluing then soldering :-)
Lol yes I need to touch up my skills. It was also difficult doing it while trying to have the camera in the correct position.

Haha thanks. I refuse to let the negative comments bother me. Life is a learning process after all. I appreciate the kind comment.

Very nice presentation and flight! The 380 is such a fun size.
The first time I flew it I was amazed
Don't let the ar7200bx do it's thing, just pick it right up🤣🤣🤣
My god! Dude take the blade holder off man🙄
And you should keep the xt 60 on there. Dean plugs sucks
Nice! Goblins rule :)
Aaaaaagh blade holder still attached whilst plugging in, haha
Ya noob mistake 😬
