From Genoa, Italy: OK I try: 1) To Leonardo: May you be so kind Master Leo to tell us once for all the exact location inside Palazzo Vecchio in Florence of your famous fresco known as the "Battle of Anghiari" please? Thanks! 2) To Michelangelo: Master please tell me if you really added shades dry on your Sistine Chapel frescoes to create shading, I ask because the last restoration removed them, explaining us that they were not intentionally made by you, but they were just the effect caused by the patina of time which therefore was necessary to remove, as it was just dirt left by time. I ask just because I need to know if I have to mass murder the whole equipe of restorers. 3) To Raffaello Sanzio: Raffaello, why did you die so young? We miss you immensely .. 4) To Mr. Niccolò Machiavelli: Messer Niccolò, may you be so kind to tell us if there is still some political way to save Italy from the abyss into which our political class has plunged it during the last 80 years? 5) To Galileo Galilei: Professor, please, could you explain us if Quantum Mechanics is just Metaphysics coming back through the window, after you kick it out of the main door? Thank you very much my good sir!
Thank you for sharing your questions! While we may not be able to have direct conversations with the giants of the Italian Renaissance, it's intriguing to consider what we would ask them if we had the opportunity. Your questions demonstrate a keen interest in uncovering mysteries and gaining insights into their lives and works. Each question carries its own significance, ranging from the location of a lost fresco to profound philosophical inquiries. These figures have left a lasting impact on our world, and their influence continues to inspire and captivate us. Thank you for your thought-provoking questions, and let's continue to explore the rich tapestry of the Italian Renaissance together.
Wow, you seem to be well familiar with these historical figures. Can you elaborate on Galileo's views on metaphysics/quantum mechanics and why do you say that he kicked it out? I am intrigued.
Outstanding post, dear Elisabetta Mac Ghille from Genoa. And here's an idea for this channel, why don't you guys do a video on the famous fresco known as the "Battle of Anghiari" mentioned above.
@@catarrato-finao: well, Galileo founded the scientific method that kicked out medieval Scholastic and metaphysics from Academia, today modern quantum physics leads to this kind of concepts: "matter does not exist as a wave of energy prior to observation, but instead as a wave of potentialities, has become the latest scientific view. This is shown, for example, through the double slit experiment which appears to suggest that the act of observing causes the wave function to collapse and create the existence of matter either in the state of particles or in the state of waves. According to the Schrödinger Equation, independent of observation, particles exist in a state of a wave function, which is a series of potentialities rather than actual objects." * Do you understand? Matter is a wave, better: it may be just a potentiality! But if matter is a wave and/or potentiality, also the truth doesn't exist, also it may be just a potentiality, a chance, a mere illusion depending on the observer, but in this way our world ends, our Western Civilization based on rationality, science and truth, dies .. it dies without making too much noise, just committing suicide politely, poisioning itself, without annoying anyone too much.
This is why I'd like to ask to Galileo if we have taken the right direction and if quantum physics is just a nickname for .. metaphysics. * quote from an outstanding online page by Zoltanous.
We will give it a serious consideration, after all the Italian Renaissance would not have been possible with the works of the Islamic scholars, poets and writers..
AIHE, congratulations on your new accomplishment - 10K subscribers! That's quite fast for two months! Well done!

If you could have a conversation with one of the giants of the Italian Renaissance, who would it be and what would you ask them?
oh please do Figures of the golden Islamic age when Baghdad was one of the biggest cities in the world
We will give it a serious consideration, after all the Italian Renaissance would not have been possible with the works of the Islamic scholars, poets and writers..
