Omggggg!!!!! The little brown blobs are so stinking cuuuuute!!!! 😊😊😊😊 Thank you for the update on them and for being such a kind animal aunty!!! You have a massive heart Miss Julie, don't ever let anyone make you think otherwise 💜 Hope your next couple of weeks are absolutely wonderful!!! Can't wait to see what you create with those new paints!!!!
as if i didn't have enough reason to love you as it is, being such a talented artist who has taught me so much, but now i find out you're a nurse too??? from one nurse to another, i say HELLO and THANK YOU for all your hard work, on and off the camera!
I so enjoy your paintings and your videos. You do you so very well. Please don’t worry about what other people say or how they do their stuff. Thanks for all you share.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You inspired and trained me to try pouring myself. At the age of 47 i have found my PASSION. And I couldn't be happier.
Whoohoo, the baby plovers are getting big and doing well!! Thank you, Dr. Julie, for braving the parents' swooping down on you so you could share the video of them with us!! They are amazing! And speaking of amazing....this color combo definitely is AMAZING!! And those beautiful rings....OMG!! Lilly Pond is the perfect name for this one. OK, Julie...wrap it up and ship it to me in Southern California!! You might as well wrap up Cherry Blossoms for me too. I'll be waiting on the front porch for the delivery. Big hugs!
@MyFox'sBabycakes ROFL!!! Gotta disagree with you, MyFoxx'sBabycakes! Our Southern California sun will totally enhance those cherry cells and bring out the blues and greens in this Lilly Pad painting!! (Hmmmmm.....We probably should try painting our own versions of these lovely paintings...LOL.) Happy painting right back atcha, MFB!
@@spgard29 You little minx! I see you now! OK....(read my note to MyFox'sBabyCakes about sharing)....what do you think? We could start a world-wide sharing program!
I Soooo want to be your neighbor for a week just to see all those wonderful birds and maybe do a painting or 2 ! Lovely painting, I'm just waiting to see a frog hop by! 💕🏜
I watch your videos all the time! So I watched this video a few times last night and thought I am going to try it. I hint I did too thin mix and far too much paint. I had clumps of unmixed paint (my bad) and I could not stop trying to pick out the clumps.....after many disasters one after another I decided to do your plastic pull across the canvas to remove some paint and blobs. It came out excellent. Maybe not to your standards but to what I have been trying to achieve for years! So thank you! You inspired me and finally it came out for what I was looking for.
As always Julie, a beautiful piece!!! And mostly thanks for taking out to see the birds , I see you love the animals and birds like I do ! I am a mother hen to them all and all the love you get in return from them all ! They were just precious!!! But the painting was a knock out gorgeous pour!! Thanks Lisa
Really it’s personal preference though, huh Julie? Gilly loves curvy lines & her cluster cells & that’s what makes this type of art so wonderful. Every artist is unique & every piece is unpredictable, no matter how many times you do the very same thing. Every pour I do is like opening a gift, bc they’re all surprises!
I have a request, as a newbie without an artistic "cell" in my body. Could you do a video explaining the difference between the transparent, semi transparent and opaque and why you don't use the silicone in opaque. Maybe a few colors that can be made like the navy by adding black. I really love what you do, always beautiful. But I have no concept of colors or the color wheel. All my clothes are blue Jean's and white black and gray tops...😔 thanks in advance if you do a video!!
For anyone in "the states" and also lovely Julie. Grams to oz is 28 not 30. Ml to oz is 30. Just thought I'd say something so everyone in the us can get the ratios right. Much love
Like I said on Instagram loving this and it’s so great to follow you as you don’t always use floetrol! Which is crazy price in the uk - getting results like this with glue and water is so inspiring thank you thank you thank you 😊
Beautiful! Also, there are some other amazing artists on youtube who do the close blasts of heat, and although a different effect, I think it;s still beautiful :) No right or wrong way in abstract art :)
You are right-it’s gorgeous! Soooo pretty! I’ll have to ty a 60/40 pouring medium next time. Thank you!❤️ And for showing the chicks-so interesting and wow, those adults like to yell! How is little pee wee pup doing? Video update pleeeese’🐶
I was watching closely and saw you missed the navy once and wanted to yell to tell you. Looks beautiful. You are an inspiration and a great teacher. I had two successful pours in a row today!! Thank you for your time. Love your animals. Is the puppy OK?
The plovers ARE still dive bombing you! Is this the second clutch? That's a wonderful thing to look forward to...a whole day to mix paints. You were talking to your cells like your puppies. LOL
Wow you're a brave lady picking up a plover baby with the parents trying to dive bomb you! I'd be a scaredy cat lol! My dog's sitting on my lap & he never takes notice of what's on my phone but this time he looked very carefully & watched what you were doing! 😂
OMG!!! Their babies not in any protection? Love the colors! What's wrong with caterpillars? I do know not to over torch though. This is lovely!! I use these and often add purple. Awesome!!
A suggestion to moving the middle paint only. Try put ur hand up underneath the canvas to make a higher peak. The paint closest to the peak will move and you can continue moving the peak either directions where you want the paint to go. It does take time but works very well for me. You could try it. Lovely painting again.
@@ArtByJulieE you don't want to put to much changes/ stress to the canvas. A little "peak" is enough to get the paint moving. Plus you can always after you are done mist the bottom underneath w water from a spray bottle. Add a bit warmth from a hair blower (not a torch). That will bring back the so called drum feel to the canvas again.
Hello, I just found your channel and love, love , love what you are doing. Do you have a video for someone that has never done this before that explains the glue to water ratio and what type of glue to use? I would really appreciate it! Thanks, Debra
Love these colors! Gorgeous painting. I’m going to be so happy if I ever get cells like that! Thank you for the segment on the baby birds. I always get so excited when I see you’ve given us a treat again. By the way, how is the puppy doing?.
Bonjour Madame, vos réalisations sont magnifiques, fantastiques ! J'ose une petite question, utilisez-vous de la silicone pour vos réalisations ? merci. Bien à vous. Isabelle
You had navy left cause you forgot to put it in the first layer. You went from turquoise then used the white and then green. The babies are so darling. But don't you worry that the parents might reject the babies because you picked them up? Very striking and wonderful as always Julie.
The mama and papa birds were very tolerant. When I was a child, in Virginia USA, I walked toward a baby bluejay and the mother attacked me. She dive-bombed my head and left me a blood-covered mess. I was fine, but I am still pretrified of bluejays. LOL
Jays are mean! One summer we had a nest of jays on one side of the house and a nest of crows on the other. They hated each other. It was a very noisy summer.
Caterpillars are usually when a number of cells all link up in a line and look like caterpillars. Usually happens when you get too close to the canvas with the torch. Hope that helps
Lol I just watched a video by Ozzy man reviews about magpies dive bombing people. He's funny as heck if ya don't mind foul language. Are plovers magpies? Same coloring from what I could see. How do you ever mow your grass if they have their babies on the ground? Must not have many natural predators for birds to have their babies on the ground.
I love getting to see the baby birds!!!! So fun!!!! You do the most beautiful pours!!! It is mystical!!!! Thank You

This is gorgeous! That grassy green is my favorite color in the whole world. I am glad to see it.
This reminds me of spring. It's all the green and the blue sky. It's so pretty Julie. Thanks for showing us the baby birds, they're beautiful.
Another winner Julie. Very very pretty and gorgeous cells.🎨🎨🎨

You said that you want the middle to stretch more have you ever done the middle cup tilted it then done the 2 side cups? Would that work?

The paint closest to the peak will move and you can continue moving the peak either directions where you want the paint to go. It does take time but works very well for me. You could try it. Don't you run the risk of stretching out your canvas and making it saggy??

Yes you skipped right over the navy on the first layer and I found myself yelling at my phone. How silly cuz you can't hear me. Love the colors!
Do you need to gesso every board..as lately when my paint dries..I can see canvas..hate it..!
Have you ever thought of putting the oil on and then mix more of oil halfway into color set up.
Is that a caterpillar in the lower right on your side?
I’m so jealous of your kookaburra babies!!! Sweet babies!!
What do you mean by caterpillars?
Caterpillars are usually when a number of cells all link up in a line and look like caterpillars. Usually happens when you get too close to the canvas with the torch. Hope that helps
