4:38 Top fuel dragsters actually use nitromethane and methanol combined. So nitromethane is probably the best fuel choice
Try lower your degrees of rotation in your steering wheel settings. I think you’ll get much better turn response.
You should do the hill climb starting with a car with great handling characteristics but makes 100 hp. With each lap you add another 100 hp and see how your lap time improves. Keep going until lap times stop improving. Next episode could be a totally different setup but same concept (fwd, rwd, van, truck, etc.)
I agree. He should get some seat time to build up to the limit will improve his car tuning and car control skill over the course of the series
How about you do that?

There is a NASCAR oval track... :)
Might be interesting to run the same car but with the 900hp engine you started with; still plenty of power but you need to get some time to learn whatever track you decide on for the Tower Of Power.
As other commenters mentioned, adjusting your steering wheel settings and learning "the" track with a much slower car will likely help you quite a lot as you ramp up the power.
High Speed Highway time trial on the East Coast map is fun and while it's not hillclimb, it is all pavement with a good mix of up/down hill, turns and long straights.
IF hillclimb is where you want to build your Tower Of Power, really Pike's Peak is the One.
As ever, fun to watch and I can hardly wait til the next one!
Thanks!
that thing is absolutely bonkers 😅sick build dude! Reminded me that the Beetle RSi exists :)
facts bro this gotta be one of the best beetle builds I’ve seen
the mighty bugo has to be on it at some point
Tower of Power....... Was a band.
Let's hope they don't sue me
Should have started with maybe 500 max hp so you can actually get a feel for your car.
You should drive from cockpit cam, it gives a much better feeling for what the car is doing.
There’s a fantastic Pikes Peak map based off of LIDAR data, that should be a proper strenuous hillclimb.
You’ll probably actually benefit from *less* tire grip - you’d much rather it slide when you throw it into the corner than grip roll the way it was on the race track.
You’ll also benefit from gearing the car to suit the track, as it’ll be easier to keep it in the power band. That said, 1500hp is probably just too much, although I’m not sure how to restrict that given you’re developing a latest-year car with +15 tech and full quality everywhere.
This series might be more fun and interesting to do as a “through the years” style challenge - start with an interwar car, and putter up the hill, then start building cutting edge engines through the 50s, 60s, 70s, into the turbocharger era, etc. That would let you warm up behind the wheel while also warming up your designing skills!
Hey! Like I said in discord. Very cool idea that, and Im so interested and excited for it. Some cool hillclimb tracks are pikes peak and goodwood hillclimb (if is there a mod for it). Really enjoyed this vid. Cant wait for the next one.
very strong first entry lol
Been watching you for a while! Always makes my day seeing your video pop up :)
Hey I'd recommend tuning the car with cam profile and stuff without turbo, then putting on the turbo. Turboing a more powerful NA engine allows you to get higher power with lower boost pressure decreasing the compressor stress. Don't really worry about the Stress level, until it works in Automation it works in Beamng😂
this car feels like it belongs to Ridge Racer lol
So it is similar to a Zundapp Janus in the sense that it looks like it has two front fascias, but is different in literally every other way.
Just for fun try an oval track with long banked corners and see if that's enough to get it to stick.
you could try putting on different tires that would slide a little
Automotiveflux series???!
Yes
Awesome creation!
you should try to getting used to first person or hood camera view, camera placement is subjective but personnaly i find that in beam hood view is way better when i drive with a wheel
Trying to make a fast front engined rwd would be cool to see, something like an amg gt black series
Hey flux there is a glitch in the exporter so if you take Carbon fiber and Max quality makes the car handle like shit, steel tires and 0 quality is the optimal
What the hell is steel tires 😂
agreed!!
@@aidanwigren9854 rims tires whatever
Im pretty sure thats been fixed for a while
Youre power to downforce Ratio is a little off, you should add more downforce or remove some power so it handles better
You should try hillclimb with rear engine Boxer 6, rwd and limited slip differential
I forgot to say that it should use LNG
This car looks like a toy
there should be a mod for pikes peak
Never been this early before
Unfortunately it sounds like 4 cylinder and not a 5 cylinder
you sound like you smoke 2 packs a day yet youre also like the best singer ever if that makes sence?
Not at all
@@automotiveflux most of the shit that comes out of my mouth makes zero sence. this is no exception XD
Could you make carmighty try it
Volkswragen das auto
Bro playing on wheel with third person 😭
Also, lower your steering angle i beg you 🗿
