Hi Vage, thank you for your comment. When I asked the ticket counter they said they were open 24x7 if u come out of the IBN Batuta metro station from the entrance just turn left and keep going straight. You will see a box cabin sort of a room in the middle. That’s the ticket room for the busses towards Abu Dhabi. I hope it helps. Please don’t worry, just go with plenty of time you will be fine :)

Thanks for your comment, if you go by ETIHAD airlines policy if u miss “any” leg of a journey the subsequent legs become invalid. If I were you I would take the bus just in case.

Hi Arun thanks for commenting. When I asked about this to the bus stop people that does this service come complimentary with any airlines, they said this is an Airport Operated Service from AUH Airport hence it’s paid. They just mentioned about the Etihad service which leaves Dubai near the Dubai Mall Metro station. The Etihad service is always complimentary if you start or finish your journey in Dubai. Dear Kaushik, no specified amount, I'm sure it should be the same as per your air ticket. I had seen people carry 3 to 4 suitcases also!

Hey Eshan, it works in the same way. If your travelling on ETIHAD you get free bus transfers to Dubai if your ticket says end destination in Dubai. It costs 35 AED if going on private bus.

Hi Aniruddh, thank you for your comment. There is a bus which is RTA operated and charges 25 AED through the nol card.
Can I buy ticket a day or 2 days earlier (in advance)? There was mess at Abu Dhabi airport few days ago, people had to wait 2 hours to get tickets for the next bus. TBH very unprofessional organization and real headache.
Thanks for your comment. In the new airport you aren’t able to buy in advance. Once the tickets for the particular hour is sold out. They close the office until the next hour bus tickets r due to be sold
