@@akmankalash I was wondering if there was some way to modify the cover a bit to reinstall it. I happen to like the covers. Can you describe what you did so you could reinstall the cover? Thanks!
We design these products based on using them in races, paddock, and pur shop. We preferred the tensile spring off the cable because how we work on these bikes. For this product i don't think that there is an objective "better" configuration. The one that works best with your work flows is the better one. So you will have to choose one and try it. Either one you choose will work well enough for its main function of returning clutch mechanism to positive full disengagement.
Saludos, por qué razón se pega? Sí colocamos ese resorte es para que devuelva, pero si estamos teniendo problemas en fibras por tensión, de resortes, lo mejor es colocar resortes más duros, en la manzana.
lmao the original clutch return spring on my ninja650 broke due to corrosion, i googled how to replace it and found out in this video that the ninja 400 doesn't come with one and people do that janky installation to add that feature i don't feel like opening the right side of my engine and replace the oil and gasket just to replace that damn spring, i might do a janky installation like this on my bike 🤣
@@scorpiojuan1966 its clear that you are making some sort of error over and over. I have e done these clutches at the track in 15 minutes start to finish. Never had an issue. You are probably not engaging the pawl onto the push rod.
@@scorpiojuan1966 I am sorry I don't have any additional helpful tips for you. If you are local I would say bring your bike to me in the evening and we can do it together.
I went to the local hardware store selected a spring and hooked to the frame bolt tube. Worked perfectly. Good idea!
I changed my set up by using a expansion spring on the throttle cable. Looks alot cleaner. No drilling or cutting. Just twist it on.
Thank you for this super simple mod. I've had this spring for a few hundred miles and the clutch feels much better.
Great to hear!
The cover you took off at 1:53 does it need to stay off?
Yes, a lot of useless junk comes off the bike when you ready it for serious riding.
@@TSTindustries i modified it so i could put back on and looks like made from factory.

what makes this kit better then the competitors? You don't have to drill into pieces of the bike with those

Why not connect the spring to the same location the clutch cable attaches too (at the arm)? No drill, just neess to be able to move freely still.

I just replaced my clutch and now the clutch lever won’t release…
You must have assembled the mechanism incorrectly. You most likely will have to pull the cover off again and redo it.
@@TSTindustries I did it four times.. still not working..

@@TSTindustries the pawl into thr clutch rod correctly because i feel it lock and cover wont come off. I see other videos of others having same issue.
