Timeless work. Quality track
Fan of this for so many years now. I've tried so many times to figure out what these lyrics are about and honestly I don't know for sure. Vita few years ago, I saw the video that goes with it. And I got this idea: So based on the lyrics and the video, I think this track is a commentary on the U.S. pop culture. The line "I saw you behind a black glass" to me is someone watching TV who sees through all the glitz and glamour of American propaganda. Hence, the line, "no don't come closer, stay away" and "they follow into my dreams" is about how intrusive American pop culture can be on how we think and how it can negatively affect our values. What do I know though. It could easily just be a track about a bad dream Anthony had one night. Maybe the lyrics just sounded cool and he went with it. Or maybe it's about the club experience. "When the Sun goes down" is usually when the night life starts. Whatever the true meaning of the lyrics are, I love this track.
