when you escape the house not a good idea to head to the car as the killer would probobly expect that. shouldd have abandoned her as "come here or she dies" is stupid as you already know his objective is to kill them all why would he keep any of them alive
As soon as he was driving away and the killer told him to come back or she dies he should’ve texted back saying that he would but in actuality he drives to the local police station. The killer just sent a video proof that he is holding someone hostage against their will, there is an entire lives stream of people being murdered on screen, and Chad has a visible injury from the experience. Sure individually all of these things could be written off as just an elaborate prank, But all of these details put together would likely get at least some officers and detectives to hear him out and at least humor the situation. Combined that with the fact the place they were visiting was a previous colt location I feel like it would at least be a decent chance they would hear them out. And if worse comes to worse and the police absolutely do not believe in Chad, at least he will be safe, provided that his location is never leaked

It's so crazy how these movies always think viewership works. Not only do they not have any experience with streaming, they don't even logically understand the power of Internet users. What i find funnier is that a really similar situation just happened recently, not cult members or anything but definitely a psychopath about to livestream 2 peoples deaths - "Jack Doherty" was looking at his phone while driving hella fast in the rain and wasn't paying attention to the road at all, ended up sliding out of control and almost killed himself & his cameraman, then right after the crash he didn't even care if his friend was okay and handed him the phone while clearly bleeding out of his head and told him to take it and get a second angle with another phone

A 911 operator is going to take all call seriously regardless of who you are. If they don't do so, they can also be held liable for anything that happens to you.
As someone who has a cousin who works as a dispatcher, this is 100%. If someone is drunk calling or prank calling, they would warn them that it’s illegal to prank call and still send emergency services as a “just in case”. Usually just a cop depending on context of the call. Hell, my gran slept dialed 911(one of those auto dial settings) and we had a cop bang on our door at 2am. They weren’t happy but they did show us how to disable the settings (it was defaulted on after an update) after we explained what must have happened and promptly disable our own.
There have been cases of operators failing to do their jobs and getting in trouble, so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility, but yes, they absolutely would be held liable and, at minimum, fired depending on context.
