I was at Radio City that night. I love this Beach Boys song and I was so happy when Jacob started playing it but when Suzie walked on stage, I started crying. I went to the Brooklyn show the next night and when Suzie came on stage I cried even more than the night before. What a perfect song for Jacob to sing to and play with Suzie! I can’t begin to tell you how much your families music and approach to life has helped me recently in a time where I have been going through a real life, creative and identity struggle. I have watched many of Jacob’s talks and he often refers to the open minded creative teachings from you. Now, amazingly I have stumbled across your channel and podcasts! Since learning of Jacob’s music late last year, I’ve been so in awe that he seems so unapologetically comfortable to be himself even with all the madness that I imagine is around him. I always was curious about the person that enabled and fostered that. I just want to say thank you! The love, music and words that you put out into the world have somewhat become my soundtrack and compass lately. I hope you do more podcasts because they are so inspiring and very interesting.
