This city is largely abandoned from what I understand. They also have a replica Jackson Hole, Thames Towne a Swedish style area as well as an Italian city. They are mostly abandoned. As I understand it China built these areas to draw foreigners who live in China or want to move there but it's not so successful. And yes they use the "Paris" location for weddings and wedding photos.
We would love it if you would ask someone about the things you saw, why was the tower built, why can't they go into the water and why was the castle built
This place is for the local Chinese to enjoy, not for foreigners who want to experience the real thing. Westerners who complain about the hot weather during the summer months, why don't they visit China during spring, autumn or winter months? It's so strange that these westerners keep complaining about hot summer weather in China but not visiting China during other seasons that the weather is so much cooler. And it's more strange that some of them came from the US or Australia where a big part of their countries are in hot deserts, tropical or semi tropical zones that the temperatures are even hotter than the summer time in China.
@@mkmc94 Weird or not is up to people living in China, not for you foreigners. Don't like it, then don't come to visit this place. Who asked you to come to visit?

My German friend told me, Chinese can make every thing very good as long as they want. I trust what he said now.

They should use french alphabet in the signboard and etc.Using chinese word just made it look like hongkong and shanghai in 1920s
You should have looked up the place a bit better before editing. The town now has 30k people.
Fair enough! I could’ve done more research

Why are you so defensive ? It's weird, trying to copy a whole city is weird.
