Nickelback was my father's favorite band as he lay dying from ALS in a nursing home I took him the entire collection he left them to me after he passed it's my most treasured material thing thank you Nickelback.
great story, synchronicity, i just, 10 minutes ago, sent an email to one of my best friends, 60 yrs old, Dr. says he's got 12 months. ALS has wrecked his speech and he can't use his fingers, and walking is labored now. Got symptoms after 3rd pfizer but could be coincidence. Somehow, i found my way to this song and directly to your ALS post after i sent the email to friend with ALS.

20 years ago i would listen to this song and dream about finding a real and loving person when i got older. I took the long road in life falling many time and having brain surgeries and break through chronic pain has completely changed me as a person.
Now i think about God. He never left me, but i just didn't want to dive deep into healing. Everything that I was running from growing up, are all the things I've had to deal with in my late twenties going through the brain surgeries. That's a difficult thing about healing, once we revaluate one part of our life we have to go back and reevaluate the rest of it.
Prayers, I've had NDE's and Seizures etc. at 63, I'm still here. Only His Grace and Love have Me. Sane, Yet not?
2025 is knocking at the door! Just a few days left. 20 years ago, Nickelback produced their masterpiece album ' All The Right Reasons' which is so far their best album till date! The coming year Nickelback should produce and release another new album which may be similar to 'All The Right Reasons' to return to their best form. No matter what many people say this and that about them, their music have always motivated and energized millions of people of all ages across the globe !!!!!!

My dad was a hard core rock fan, he loved Genesis, Rush, Yes, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, all those guys, but nickleback was his favorite band. I dont understand why rock fans hate nickleback so much. To me they're nostalgic cause these were the ones i would listen to with my dad when i was little.

Iv listened to nickelback since 2001 thanks to the first Spiderman movie and I haven't stopped since. I don't plan too. I listen to any type of music as long as I like the song I don't care what "type" of music it is. Nickelback are great and they always take me back to my childhood.

You can see everyone else's expiry date but cant see your own. You dont even know if you are going to die but when you save someone, you passed along this strange ability and the new person can also see your expiry date.
Since its impossible to save everyone (you're not god), you're basically choosing who gets to live or die. Your life would suck and it would have very adverse effect on your mental health.

As someone who is an EMT for me it's way harder when a kid dies. We see a lot of death and while it's sad for anyone to die an 80 something lived their life, they had their time.

Ever since I was little, I grew up listening to Nickelback and I instantly fell in love with their songs. I’ve been in a wheelchair on my 5th birthday, witnessed my parents getting divorced, had to endure my sister’s 21st all-nighter party and overheard mom kicking her out... even after all that AND isolated due to currents events, I can always turn to Nickelback.

I really don't see why NB gets all the hate they do. They have a unique (if not historically spectacular) sound, and often make the effort to have a valid sociological message in their work.

As long as they are European and especially English speaking, their specific nationality is irrelevant in that context. The Beetles were British, for example, but look at the influence they had on American culture, just by writing songs.

All those horrible pop stars who all sound the same and whose songs are most of the time about sex, drugs, how to destroy society etc. get all the reputation, fans and love, while NB gets so much (undeserved) hatred. It's a funny/sad world we life in.

copyRtest1 NB gets hate because Chad is a dickweed. (lead singer) Their music as a whole, is great. Wide range, lots of real meaning in some songs, but Chad is still a dickweed.

Year 2006 when I listened to this song for the first time. Was my maths test day, and I just couldn't stop listening again, and again,,,,, and again... Completed my test with the song in my head the whole time... heck failed the test but don't regret even a bit as it was the day when Nickelback had a new legit fan of theirs. And 13 years later, I still listen to them almost everyday!
