As I am getting older I realize that I can’t eat those foods like I used to when I was younger because our bodies changes as we gets older I eat lots of fruits and vegetables!🥦🍎
Okay I just had lab worked done. For some reason my cholesterol is sky high and sugar levels are high. My anion gap is low and the only thing coming back for that is talking about myeloma?? I've had problems with my neck with the lymph nodes being swelled. Those have been swelled for a while now. I stopped taking my generic chantix because it wasn't doing the trick. I've got to get back a hold of my doctor to see if my insurance will cover the name brand chantix that I know will help with quitting smoking. Should I be worried about my anion gap being low. And this is not the first time that that has been low with my blood test. Doctors seem to have brushed it off quite often. I am on pain medication and I don't know if that could be causing it. I did stop taking my anti-inflammatories a while back ago because it seemed to be making my knee pain worse. But debating on restarting it because it does help with my back pain. But not only are my cholesterol levels high there's two of them that are high for cholesterol which is weird. I have never had issues with it except for what I was younger when I was being overmedicated. So it was a side effect of a different medication. Once I was off of it all my levels went back to normal. And my glucose level is slightly elevated which the doctors have always brushed off on that as well. And I've seen a nutritionist before which the normal eat less exercise blah blah blah blah... I want somebody to actually sit down with me and do an actual plan not just tell me what to eat but you know show me how to eat. I have debated on before getting stomach surgery done. I'm overweight I've slowly started losing weight after I changed my job. Which I'm still waiting to feel better because I'm losing this weight. I have it tried to lose weight it's just coming off because I'm walking more. I'm tired of finding doctors that brush things off after I've explained what I've been through. Which most of us are tired of doctors not listening to us.
I use "Low Sodium Bacon" to season my veggies. But you have to read the labels because different brands have different amount of salt. I stay clear of the Turkey Bacon because it has a very high sodium level. I do the same thing with certain breads too. When I use American Cheese in my scrambled eggs I don't add salt to them period. Take the time to read all food and drink labels because its important.
