What a masterpiece, technically very much sound composition, entirely different from the modern and classical style, in fact rhythm of the composition is not being understood by the Madam Noor Jehan and other singers later on sung this song. Subhan Allah Ustad Sahab kya Adagi aur Khoobsurat Tareen Composition hai, never heard this original but its really amazing, Madam ki adagi apni jaga but yeh b kamal hai
Though we should not create a competition between Madam and Ustad Nazar Hussain both are great artists but in my opinion Ustad sung in classical mood while madam sung it in semi classical mode !

SubhanAllah!! This in my view is the only ghazal which’s difficult to decide as to who sung it better, Noor Jahan or Ustad Nszar. Otherwise, I have never seen anybody ever come even remotely in comparison with Madam Noor Jahan. May Allah sw rest her soul in eternal peace in paradise.

"" tujhe dhoondhay""pagal ki tarhan has a taan which madam took very difficult. Also the word anchal has not right pronounciation. Qurb ki khusbhu ""jaagi''" has a taan too. Tarha is not pronounced right. He was a composer and madam was an exceptional singer at the age of 70.
Actually ... Tarnnum was half Malika and half Ustad Nazar ... ziyada Aimen mein compositions hain ... but shukar hai hamre paas Malika ka kujj khazana reh gya Tarranum ki shakal mein .... Allah donon ki maghfrit kare

Amazing style found it more impressive than madam Noor Jahan. Ustaad Nazar has sung it in a pliant way and Noor Jahan made it more wavy.
