Great story I live in Johnson City Tennessee and I have roamed the mountains all my life. They hold secrets that will never be revealed. Love this country so much. But you know and I know hill people are different in our ways. My mom family were hill people from limestone cove in Unicoi county.
To me, there are very few stories that are truly horribly spooky. There are also very few that are truly very creepy. This one manages to be BOTH! To go to those lengths to gain that type of knowledge goes beyond anger or any normal human reaction. Perhaps it's Jared's excellent storytelling, but I'm glad he didn't get what they offered! My father aunt well his uncle wife was like this woman real powerful she was so powerful my father said that people will close the doors when she pass by he tell me sometimes she will look a rose and will touch it and will say what a beautiful rose and the rose will dry right there to dust.And what was weird that my father was for her her baby.She always will talk about the bird tell me in reality a real evil spirit she used to cure people.But at the same time she used to put strong bad spirits to others to kill them with a prayer.But used she work with the 7 power they are part of the African 21 legions including with the water spirits usually casique meaning Native ancient evil spirits strong power even by a person.drinking water will be sick and died.She look old becouse the spirits will used her energy and her surrounding she used the evil spirits to much and this witch learn pure evil 7 dimencion and her soul and yes she still alive in the forrest with in the forest evil spirit call patroo
