I enjoyed this a lot and the music was as excellent as the footage! I lived in a town in Japan for a few years and many things that I see being done there are near exactly the same as what you might see in certain parts of the town. Where I grew up, many of the things you see in Sikkim aren't visible except when you go to historical sites. Hang dried fruits and vegetables, churns and other things like that are easy to spot at a historical site about two towns over, but most anywhere else, you won't see that kind of thing. Even some of the veggies -- like elephant ears -- were all over Japan. So three places completely separated by oceans and seas have relatively -- if not extremely similar -- roots, which isn't surprising at all. I'm from NJ, by the way, which is on the east coast of the US. With that in mind, the differences in daily life in parts of the world seem to only vary greatly due to technology and even then, it's not always a win to have more of it, which makes me appreciate some who take their time adopting new things -- like the Amish more. The fried corn bread being made also looks pretty good to say the least! Great Video! Thank you!

Nicely displayed where life in the rural scenario is easy going devoid of any rushing errand in the neighborhood. Food is at their doorstep and no pesticide is used in their crop. Farther from any form of civilization they improvise working tools and other equipment to supplement their livelihood. This is the kind of place where everybody recognizes each other.
Sikim historically is a country of her own. She was annexed by India in 1975. Sikim is a landlocked state. The scenery with the backdrops of Himalayas she is a beautiful place.
Such beautiful glimpses of Sikkim, the people, the animals they have, the pig trying to flee his pigpen made me smile and laugh, the calf, the chickens, ah, amongst the li'l ones I see a bare neck chick and then near the end appears a BIG bare neck, here we call them 'japonesas'. And it surprise me to see that the people of Sikkim also eat corn, and a very good way to grind the corn, much easier than the metate we have here, because the woman has to assume a bending over position resting her body on her knees as she works the metate stone over the nixtamal(cooked corn in lime solution), this method is AWESOME, the woman sits comfortably on the floor and the stones are the ones that do the hard work!
