My former bosses wife had it destroyed at scrap yard , it had been setting out on there farm !! She was `n t very nice about , i did `nt have any where to take it , along with my 1970 chevelle malibu !!So i`am looking for truck` s just like what i had it was a great truck !!
There was a stabilizer link that attached there and went upward to the part of the truck camper that hung over the cab . If you noticed the shock absorbers in the front of the bed , those went thru the front wall and attached to the back of the cab .
I want an old square body 454 some day for pulling trailers and hauling stuff

That metal plate on the front fender by the door with the three bolts do you have any idea what it’s called I’m trying to find it?
I guess it was a tie down point for a camper shell as the truck is a Camper Special model
