What's up Forrest hope all is well, ALWAYS enjoy the behind the scenes info and the old stories because they bring back memories of my band that was at it's peak right about same time as TPATG was released, absolutely loved recording on 2' tape.I still prefer it today over digital, I mean I like to record in analog and mix down everything to digital but anyways sorry and again appreciate the video man.. 🤘

Fun stuff! I think Head in the Girl would have been a good single release. Simple, heavy, and quick with a relationship angst tone. West Virginia is my favorite from the album though. Thanks for sharing!

Mistake is the theme song for it not being the single or better yet the corporate merger

this album gets played to this day almost every time i drive my car... i bought the cd when it first came out, and listened to it often when i'd do my hour-or-so commute to work (it alternated with Stone Temple Pilots "Shangri La-Dee-Da")... and it now lives in the thumbdrive in the Challenger... just criminally underrated... i vividly remember hearing "Ladylike" on 102.1 in Toronto when it was being pushed as a single... the people at the station really loved it, and would kinda gush all fanboy/girl about it when they were intro-ing it... and this would have been at least 3 1/2 months or so after it was released... i could be very biased, and somewhat naive about the whole "machine" behind single selection and all the moving parts behind the promotion of said single, but there are MANY songs on this album that could've been fantastic candidates for "rock radio" as it were... sonically, this album is just incredible... then add the musicianship, the songwriting/arranging ability, the way you guys played together, and toss Ian's voice in as the cherry on top... god DAMN!!!!

I think I’m glad that I didn’t have a TV or internet at that time and haven’t seen any videos…
