Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate.The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation. Their Iddah is three months like those in menopause.....The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation.

I'm from Egypt but left it to settle in a european country after the coup d'etas that happened in 2013. كَيْفَ يَهْدِى اللّٰهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوْا بَعْدَ اِيْمَا نِهِمْ وَشَهِدُوْۤا اَنَّ الرَّسُوْلَ حَقٌّ وَّجَآءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنٰتُ ۗ وَا للّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ
"How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true and clear signs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
(QS. Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 86)
اُولٰٓئِكَ جَزَآ ؤُهُمْ اَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللّٰهِ وَا لْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ وَا لنَّا سِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ
"Those - their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together,"
(QS. Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 87)
خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا ۚ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَا بُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ
"Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved."
(QS. Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 88)
