  • Mutation Description: "The infested terrans on Tarsonis are everywhere. They're in the ground. They're on the trains. Before long, they'll be in your base. And you may never see them coming."
    Mutators:
Darkness - Previously explored areas remain blacked out on the minimap while outside of player vision.
Outbreak - Continuous waves of the infested horde march against the commanders' bases.
Walking Infested - Every enemy unit that commanders destroy will spawn infested terrans. The more life a unit has, the more infested will rise from its corpse.
    Special Notes: P1
    Commander: Artanis
    Prestige: Valorous Inspirator (P1)
    Advantages:
-Increase the effectiveness of all active combat unit abilities by 100%.
    Disadvantages:
    -Combat units cost 30% more.
Masteries: 30 Shield Overcharge Duration and Damage Absorption, 30 Energy Regeneration and Cooldown Reduction, 30 Initial and Maximum Spear of Adun Energy
Kimmo's Notes: A brief respite from my Temple grinding, I decided to test out P1 Artanis tech on a different map with a relatively straightforward mutator concept: Train of the Dead.
Ah, Train of the Dead, the mutator stomping ground. I suppose it's fitting that I return here at some point.
I continue to be surprised with how P1 can dominate if the situation permits. Zealots are the most surprising thing out of all these discoveries. They suddenly become the main damage-dealers which is a far cry from how they're conventionally viewed as meatshields meant to tank for more expensive units. It's all because of their double damage-dealing Whirlwind ability that also becomes very spammable with manual casting.
High Templars and Archons keep their shields up and supports their already high AOE with more high AOE. Archons and Dragoons take care of air. Immortals and Reavers can take care of anything too bulky for Zealots like structures or Thors.
Historically, runs for Artanis on this mutation always ended up with frantic finishes with the player's base close to being completely destroyed.
But P1 presents this run with an extraordinarily comfortable finish.
I plan to see how the other prestiges fare for myself to see if P1 just makes Artanis that strong for this mutation.
